A question regarding the patching freezing?

Since my SO has tried to download the patch five times and each time it's frozen and crashed right at the end, would I be able to copy the files on my computer over to hers and bypass the patching process this way? because unless there's a manual patch, we're not seeing any other solutions. :c

    Say. I used to have the same issue with the auto patch, then tweaked with the options and never got problems again.

    my options are:

    automatically update client (OFF)
    manually select server (ON)
    download using p2sp (on)

    Strangely enough, it was the first option set to ON that always killed my autopatch around 50-70%

    yes can copy game files over no problems

    Unfortunately? Those have been my exact settings from the get-go.

    I was giving an example. Try turning it on, maybe for you it works that way. You never know..
