80-90% then CRASH!

Spend 8+ hours updating the client, and then get to 80-90% then it crashes?! Seriously?

    My hubby updated the client in less time than it's taken me, and I'm still down after 9 hours. And people are blaming crappy internet. Well, we have the same internet, so that's not the issue. And my computer runs faster than his on a normal basis, so it's not my computer either.

    Same here, mine come up with an error window saying patcher has stopped working, I've been trying to download it for 14 hours now

    @Burningalpha - Lost City Same here, mine come up with an error window saying patcher has stopped working, I've been trying to download it for 14 hours now

    2nd time I got the patcher stopped working error after 100% b:cry Not sure if this related with corrupted file or something.

    I wish there's a manual patch to avoid this one.

    Sighs in annoyance. Got up to like 90% and it stopped working again on me. It's literally IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO FINISH UPDATING. I'm too stupid to figure out how to change files around from my fiancee's stuff ;;;

    If anyone has any ideas on what to do or where to get a manual patch please let us all know. This is incredibly frustrating; I've paid a lot of money to PWI because I genuinely enjoy the game and, suddenly, I'm not allowed to play it anymore because of this. :(

    People have been tossing around copying a finished person's files to your own computer, but I'm too tech unsavvy to do that. So unless we get a manual patch, until then, I'm not sure this HAS a solution?

    It's really frustrating. I've submitted a ticket and all, but yeah. Nothing I can do. I guess I don't get to play the game. I just hope I get to log in before the level 95 stone is gone. :(
