DQ items

So I have not seen a thread started on this, perhaps if there is can someone link it and I can close this one.
My thoughts are, tomorrow DQ items will be worth 1 coin right? With no dq value since there is NO dq point system atm. What is the point of even having those drops? Is this the sign of the "new point system"? I see value in having less coins entering the system but what is the end goal that pwi is going for reducing it to 1?
Perhaps I am not seeing the forest for the trees but I cannot see where they are going with this lol b:victory
Anyhow I am looking forward to trying the new instance and playing with the new classes b:dirty

Does someone actually do Dragon Quest chains?
That thing is so old and outdated and should be redone.
I heard that those higher level dq items value is dropped down to 1 to control economy inflation in game. Seems that they do it by cutting coin sources from players.0 -
just put back the coins to the DQ for how it was...could ppl actualy gain money without Cash Shopping but grinding
Some used the excuse they remove the coins for bot issue...this is past now bots are allowed shouldnt they put back the coin value?
Other sayd it was remove due to DQ Rewards...DQ reward gone since years, promissed to get a complet new DQ feature (guess what? it never happen) shouldnt they just put back the coin value ?
now ask it your self0 -
They are simply assuring that players have to buy gold to do anything... sadly, this game is getting harder and harder for non-cs players to get ANYTHING meaningful[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Bots are allowed however more than two clients running at once isn't, and that becomes a problem when people are running 4, 5, 8, 10+ clients at once. Its funny there was a quad-clienter (4 accounts) on RT killing wraithflowers in Morai. Can tell they are all him due to the character names, and the fact they all wear gear made by each other.
Alleviate the DQ coins and maybe, just maybe people will diminish their botting to just getting some XP while they are not at their computerMalice Leader - Raging Tides

Dqs being 1 coin = less money in circulation = less inflation = things MIGHT get cheaper, or do you all like the ingame currency being the equivilent to postwar germany/ zimbabuwes currency?0
-
I understand why they want to remove the influx of coins. My thought was why have them there at all anymore now? What purpose do they serve if they have no point value or coin value right?0

Dragon quests (bracers of bloodmoon are still good for levelling), and bank extensions use dqs as far as i can remember0

Less money in circulation does not mean less inflation. It means fewer players have less coins flowing to them. When the elite have all the coins and still buy gold at the highest prices. Having already amassed a large wealth means you have the ability to suck wealth from other players.
A healthy economy has healthy circulation. Players buying and selling to each other. With all things divine coming from gold, I don't see a healthy economy for a long time even with dq nerfd. What I plan to see for a long time is high gold prices and cat shops sales down.
As for dq, no one does that because it's time consuming, you get **** rewards. Even the bracers are **** because auto 95 stone = lvl 90 gold bracers.0 -

I agree that. I got Sleeves of Blood Moon for one of my mage toon.

It's was enough difficult to get 25 Silver Dragon Orders. That is why I would like to get it redone. To be less time consuming and more rewarding.
And that illusionary stone is still optional and it's for one toon and won't work for new classes.0 -

That stone is available in the boutique. Where before many new people man have cashed some gold and bought FC, Now they will cash some gold and buy 95, making the tt90 bracers a lot easier to obtain and cheaper.
