Since I've been seeing a lot of threads asking server population questions lately, and because I'm bored, a bit curious, and have nothing better to do at the moment (being in an airplane sucks). Sure forum counts aren't completely accurate, but what the hell.

So which server is your main? Post away.b:pleased

    I voted for Harshlands, because when I get back, that's where I'm going. RT has burnt out it's trollness for me, it was cute at first, but now it's overwhelming.

    Which I'm on most between the rest depends on the mood I'm in.

    Kitty's playing on RT. Earlier Kitty used to visit LC when RT was down, but due to forced password change and thus loss of the acc Kitty had LC-char on Kitty can't do so anymore.

    I'm active on 4 of them "3-West & 1-East coast server" (with like 2 dozen characters) but my primary playground id "HT~server"..b:thanks

    They can safely close all the US servers, and just keep the EU server running. Thats the one giving PWE a profit anyway.

    Maybe even get back to 2 EU servers like before. Would be nice to have a English only EU server.

    please fix this game and convert all PvE servers to PvP :(

    wanmei devs didnt design the game for PvE servers economy and events are fvcked up cause of this

    PWCH has NO pve servers at all!!!!

    Europe was supposed to launch an english PvP server, they did not b:surrender

    I've had and still have characters on some other servers but for the past year I've only played on Sanctuary. I doubt I'll ever return to the other servers, since I don't play much these days.

    That PvE servers make PWE 10 times more real cash than the PvP servers?

    Definitely Raging Tide for me. I briefly played one of the original servers back in the opening days, but RT is my true home. So many memories of friends that haven't played in ages.. b:kiss

    Even though you might be right on that, I think general server population is way more important than the number of very endgame players (and for the moment nobody answered LC, maybe too busy PVPing)
    Don't underestimate the fact that some people spend a good amount of money in fashions for example. And I know more people farming/merchanting money for gears than farming/merchanting for fashions. Talking about C$ers only I would really like to know the amount of money generated by fashion/pigment/flyers/ink/weddingpacks/... compared to orbs or catalyzers.

    Nothing beats the few people that have cashed on dreamweaver, even if there is a faction with "more very endgame players" in LC.

    You don't need (or well you didn't used to need) that much cash to get towards endgame gear, so it would depend which ones cashed what in the end.

    Apart from that is not the only thing for sale.

    But still, one does not beat the server sponsors of dreamweaver that easily.

    It's called living in a protective bubble.

    I have played all servers since closed beta 2008. So I know how the various servers do, and PvP servers even thou there are only 2 of those compared to the 6 (previous 7) PvE servers. Have less players per server than every one of the PvE servers. This also means there are far more PvE engame players (about 10 times more) that spend cash on gear. The math here is quite simple.

    That turns the game into a "go cash or go home" type of game, where a couple of trolls will drive away the majority of the F2P folk who have no interest in PvP. Ever seen what PREIST does at the FSP exit point in Kirin Town when he's bored? If Morai becomes a PvP server, I'll be leaving PWI, and I think there's a lot of folk who feel the same.

    If you're so dead set on PvP, join a PvP server and start over. That's what they're there for. But then you'll also have to suffer through the lower levels while being white, not hop white only when you're at endgame gear!

    lots of non-factor \ low-mid geared players left PWI already @ FC nerf (and for lots its entire factions), PWI doesnt care

    There are no PvP servers in EU, i was playing on a US PvP server with 700+ ping and its really not enjoyable BESIDES the mere time slots for the events (early early morning for EU folks)

    And its not my fault if i r9d my chars at first sale and pvped as much as i could since the start :-)
    hell, the wiz is josd since probably 3 months after Lothranis was released :-) when DoDs were 8mil each and DoT were 5mil each :-)

    @Evryn : by experience I would say that people on PVP servers are often more fairplay than some rpkers on PVE servers (and personaly I would have chosen another example)

    As I said in another thread...there will be an influx in PvP/very endgame players on Morai Hot, so just wait for it.

    TBH, there is no other place to play for european player than Morai.
    Ping and Event times alone are the major reasons to play here. If one is a massive CSer and aims to be one of the best geared players then hell ya, that should be easily made, simply because we don't have that many very end-game players.

    And don't blame me for the missing PvP xD I am the one no one wants to 1on1 against ._.

    But hey, PvP is not that important for me anyways atm and the same goes for nearly anyone that starts out new on our server, soon. It takes time to focus on a new char. You might want to test it out PvP-wise once you hit a certain level of gear...but most people will only serious PvP when they are (close to being)-done.
