What are your guys thought on people buying and selling pv openers?
Just curious after seeing a guy rage in world chat because nobody would open for him, and he was so close to 95 2nd reborn and he was "too good " for quests.

    personaly i dont have an issue with people doing pv and paying people to open and such, and id rather pay 300k and do pv in a few minutes than spend an hour doing quests for the same amount of exp.

    I think it's often a waste of money.
    I see so much people buying 4+ PV a day to go from 103 to 104 (just an example) while their gears are +7 with G9
    Maybe I'm biased 'cause I never had problems to open 3-4 PV for free, but I really think I wouldn't have wasted money on that.

    I've no issue with anyone buying, or selling. Openers get payoff. Sellers get experience, so it's a fair trade. Sellers also get that stupidly high repair bill, while paying for hypers, so it's up to them if they want to do it or not. I personally am able to solo PV, but since I'm only a G16 cleric with moderate refines and shards, as well as being a pure magic arcane cleric, I can only do moderate pulls, and I feel as though it's my decision whether I run or not. Just as I feel as though it's anyone else's decision whether or not they do multi-runs, pay for openers, or choose to open. They all get something for it that's worth it to them.

    As far as the guy raging in WC for an opener because he's too good for quests...well Lol to him. You don't always get what you want, and him doing that would have actually made me not open for him...even if I was going to and needed the coin. If quests could level him up, then I'd do it, were I in his shoes...

    but that's not my business.

    I had a friend opening instances for me, she had access to like 40+ openers. I would do my 2 tokens and 15/16 runs, half an hour a day, had a nice routine till I skipped a few days and felt lazy and felt bad for using her time even though she had no problem with it so I stopped asking her to open for me.

    I've bought a few openers before but after having so many bad experiences with total noobs that waste so much time I gave up and haven't finished getting 105^3.

    I would pay someone that has like 4-5+ toons to open simply because it's the most efficient way to get exp if coin isn't too much concern. It can be frustrating finding people to open, esp considering how easy it is for them (or should be assuming an IQ higher than the average vegetable) and how much coin they get per opener.

    before this thread i had no thoughs on paying for openers. Honestly i still dont care. However, i think its nice that i can choose to give up PV(which i odnt do anyway) and get some coin outta it

    Oh, God, I would love it to be an hour of quests to get the exp from a pv run. Hell, not even a day's worth of quests cover exp from hypered pv.

    Don't mind PV openers. It's win/win for the people who don't want to (or plan on) running PV and for the people who do want it. Now the people trying to have others solo PVs for them and then making a huge fuss when nobody bothers to do it... those both annoy me and make me laugh.

    I have no problem with people buying/selling opening service. It's no different then paying to open TT, or Nirvy back in the day.

    I think they should remove the one opening/day though, and let people be able to open as many times they can during those 15 min. It wouldn't make any noticable difference on how many runs your gear allowes you to do, but I think it's stupid to have a coin fee on the only viable way to get to 105x3 in a reasonable amount of time. Not to mention having to rely on there being enough people around to be able/willing to open for you when you want to PV.

    The only real issue there is the moron whining like a baby in WC.

    Everyone should just stop what they're doing and help him because he asks?

    For the whole paying people to open, or selling the function, either way it's a service. Nothing wrong with that.

    But it would be like going to the grocery store and throwing a fit because I want to purchase chocolate covered Oreo's and they don't currently have any in stock.
    Seriously, find an alternative, or try again later. It's not rocket science.

    Hi im that guy you're talking about, first of all i wasnt raging, my WC message was "buyin pv opener lv85-94, 200k, close to 95 =(" i dont see how that is raging... Second i NEVER said i was too good for quests i said im tires of doing the same quests over and over, iv reborned and leveled soo many characyers that i probably know the stories of the npcs and in game lore more than nearly every player on the server X.X. It's tiring and the low exp just ddoesnt appeal to me more than running an instance by myself, learning hoelw much my characyer can take when mass mobbing, learning highest dps combo for the boss and getting a ton of exp in the process. I mean it was even my second rebirth, are doing the low exp quests really madatory at this point?

    Firstly I think it's cool because I have no interest in levelling my 100+ chars, so I can get 500k a day if I'm on at the right time, just opening peoples pv.

    However, I would prefer if someone wants openers, that they advertise before they start, not after they finished their first run, which then puts everyone in a rush.

    I buy opener for last run if I do. Its more of used to when I soloed PV, nowdays I duo with a friend who wouldnt have significant openers to solo for decent xp. So now we dont need to buy them unless something glitches/we happen to haul *** and finish with tokens left. In such case we buy opener for last run with us inside already, hypers not running, you can take 5mins to get in and its nbd. Its annoying but doesnt really affect us in any other negative way than waste the 5mins of our time.

    Me and the in-game wife are 105x3 (since march), and we had to buy openers for several months, around 9 openers daily...

    Only situations i had were

    1.- People went inside, opened instance and it was PV 95+ (not 100), so i didnt pay them.
    2.- People wanted me to pay before they passed me lead, i refused all the time.
    3.- I had a group i call "loyal openers", that usually were up to open with multiple toons, or 1, but they were always for us
    4.- There were newbies that i had to teach how to open PV
    5.- I had people that thought i was paying to"help me open FF" LMFAO, ppl that doesnt read but wanted fast money

    But overall, it wasn't hard to get PV openers, it depend on the days... like Tuesday night, cause of maint it was harder to get ppl, etc... but it was a positive and annoying experience to spam WC buying openers for 45min everyday lol...

    NOTE: Things have changed now, since FF isnt availble. More people are buying PVs. Paying More money than what i used to pay. And Once some1 knows u have multiple alts to open PV, they stalk you, "can you open PV? Now? Now? available in like 1 hour? LOL...
