Its definitely on your end. Talk to your Internet provider about the problem.
For me number 1 is my router (192.168.100.252), number 2 is my Internet provider inner gate (192.168.24.254 - I often ping only it because it usually is the thing that causes problems with my connection, I call my Internet provider then, he resets his stuff and my Internet returns to normal), then number 3 is his outside gate (192.168.19.1) and numbers 4+ are the public network hosts.
In your case public network hosts seem to start from point 3. 1 seems to be router, 2 is something between the router and the public network. Perhaps an antenna.0 -
Given the ranges on the numbers after hop 2, it's more likely that your modem just isn't returning ping requests.
If you're still getting lag with that trace, then the slowdown is on your PC. I know that some software, like Norton 360, is really good about killing PWI if it's not completely excluded from both the AV software component, and the firewall.
Take a few more traces while you're having the issue, and if it continues to look clean like that, the problem is definitely on your PC. I'll need a Speccy report at a minimum to help you with that.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Will run these by her guys, it's weird as its only gone on since that 3x/2x weekend we had, and she isn't the only one having these issues, but will have her try to take care of things on her end to eliminate them.0
