    I've made this point before but it was ignored.

    A reward that benefits all players does not reward the players that were unable to log in. The only thing it does is hand out extra stuff to everyone.

    When a large portion of your customer base is unable to use your product you should be compensating only those who were affected.

    If customers who could log in the entire time also got the reward then the gesture is meaningless. The idea of compensation is to restore the balance to those who were hurt.

    Many of us, myself included, missed out on many daily updates:
    Event Calendar
    Bounty Hunter
    Flowsilver Palace
    Base Quests
    Cube of Fate
    Resource Wars
    Territory Wars (bidding)
    Nation Wars

    That is a lot of things to miss for 2 days. And you couldn't even give us an Absent Note.

    For those who could log on, they deserve nothing extra. For those who could not log on, we should get a few extras to make up for it.

    That is what customer service is for.

    Stop blanketing the entire customer base with shiny things. I want administrators to do the work and help exactly those who were affected by the outage.

    There's some problems about compensating only those who couldn't log in. First: how to filter them from those who were able to log in? Second: how to compensate only them after filtering them?b:surrender

    The problem about filtering ish that anyone who wasn't dual-clienting using their second account could claim they couldn't log in on that second account since to server that second account would look same as those who couldn't log in, in other words: offline.

    And even if they found out those who couldn't log in, how to compensate? Giving out a public code would trash the whole purpose of filtering. Sending codes to e-mails attached to accounts would lead to ticket spam from those who've lost their access to e-mails(for ex. Kitty deleted her FB-account and thus can't access her oldie FB-mail). Sending items directly to mailboxes wouldn't work too well either as they can't know which characters people would have played if they got on. Not to mention those with full mailbox...

    Kitty would suggest handing out public codes for:
    -50 Supply Tokens(compensation for fix after NW had already started, one per acc)
    -3 Dreamchaser codes(to compensate for potential XP loss)
    -6 Radiant Shards(to compensate for PWI-teacher thingie, once per acc)
    -2 Absent notes(redeemable once per char)
    -2 Primordial Bloods(once per acc)
    -1 COF Directorate's letter(once per acc)
    -3 Mystical and Holy pills(once per char)

    Those A-packs compensate well for lost FSs, at least for those with just one char to do it with.

    And even if those would could log in this time got slight advantage of these, Karma might make sure they'd fall victim to problems next time.b:laugh

    And 3 Dragon Orb Oceans per account would be nice since ARC ish reliable.b:shutup

    that is true, one measly absence note won't repair the damage of up to SIXTEEN missed 'check in's per account . all due to the 32 hours lasting inablilty to connect to the east coast servers.

    Thank you so much PWI for these codes which only really make up for the past 2 weeks of NO weekly codes :/

    Normally I wouldn't be one of these people who demand free stuff but 2 days down from the game is a long time and a lot missed. Seriously? Only A PACKS and Profundity Scroll 3? Not even one absence note XD Why not Profundity Scroll 1 btw why be so tight?

    They gave out codes last week.

    On a separate note though. we should get some absent notes for the days people were unable to log in. A Profundity Scroll 3 is like a slap in the face and saying go **** yourself.

    why are yall linking this to the East Coast servers being down? Sparkie basically said: "Hey guys, I love you and to show it im giving you free stuff!!!! Heres the code!"
    He doesnt say anything about compensation for East Coast servers being down, which could either mean something great or nothing at all. Quit your whining and either go play your toon or go do whatever it is you do in the real world.

    so basicly your saying we wont get ANY compensation for pwi's failures? how about you quit YOUR whining about something that doesnt involve you, and either go play your toon or go do whatever it is you do in the real world....
    unless you were affected by this ****-up, keep your opinion of people who WERE affected by it to yourself....

    i couldnt get on game for 2 days .. so therefore was affected by this "server outage" why not stop being a greedy *** and be thankful that the game is back up. NOBODY "deserves" any comps of any kind especially when all anyone does is whine n QQ which as we all know accmplishes SO MUCH lol .. if this game is really that much of your RL youve got one sad life .. js'n

    Just want to ask, is there an expiration on these free goodies? I haven't been able to log in a couple different days this past week(life got in the way, LOL), so today I thought I'd check the forum just to see what's new. This code was posted on the 7th and today is only the 11th, and it's saying expired. Don't get me wrong, i'm grateful for all the free codes over the last several months, I just want to know why there would be such a short duration before the code expired. I've been playing loyally for three and a half years, so yeah, i want to take advantage of free stuff when it's available. If Sparkie you can respond, I'd appreciate it, thank you! And thank you for giving me my forum title in a timely fashion way back. b:thanks

    sense this code wasn't in response to compensation of those not able to log in and was just an apprations gift for the ppl that play the game i really don't see why anyone would be complaining about companstaion i think it was nice of pwi to show that they do appriate the player by givng anything they didn't have to afterall

    OMG about the compensation cry babies out there sheesh.Come on I can predict your daily PW life style.

    Do a BH
    Do A FSP
    Think about doing BH 2 or using active points
    Maybe do morai but its so much of a hassle you go afk for a hour or 2 and then come back to do it.
    Maybe do primal,same as morai.
    AFK some more.
    Think of UCH atleast once and wonder why no one hardly does it.

    the only ones with legit complaints here are those from east coast servers and even then they're in the wrong thread and sound like little kids whining "32 hours equal 16 days of absence notes" learn to math pl0x if you think thats right you shouldn't get anything your too dumb too appreciate it.

    I'm actually levelling my 97 archer, non rb, and fyi, you are WAY off:

    It actually goes like this:
    Start Crazy Stone
    Start Paperclip for villa (have teleport bell)
    Hand in yesterdays BH
    Do JOJ on other account while I continue with Paperclip
    In middle of Paperclip, pick up GBQ
    During Paperclip, when near Ik, do GBQ
    If something comes up in wc, then maybe interrupt Paperclip to do BH
    Otherwise do BH with my sin, after Paperclip and Crazy Stone handed in
    Morai, with help from my sin
    PV soloing with my seeker

    That should account for close to 20-30% xp so log off until tomorrow.

    And fyi to anyone who cares (ie nobody I'm guessing :)) during 3x I was zhenning in vos which worked very well.

    So for all of this I thank you Sparkie for any and all freebies.....

    not in my case, get on 4 hours till reset
    talk to friends who are on
    MAYBE do an fsp if i feel like it
    set up multiclient and minimize, bot for aquametals
    get active points and get rid of bh gv
    chromatic seal and seal of god a friend while hes doing primal dailys
    and right about here i forget what i am actually doing
