ancestral rage vs armageddon

I know this seems like a silly topic but i was wondering what would hurt more. ancestral rage from a barb that is build for dmg str or str/dext with 3 spark and blood rush maxed OR a tanky vit based barbarian armageddon b:cute thanks in advance

    Kitty once made loads of calculating on the topic and she ended up with something like 13-15mil max. damage for Ancestral rage(includes all possible buffs and debuffs).

    Kitty's full T2 APS-barb's Ancestral Rage with T2+5 axes has hit something like 480k self-buffed to test dummy. Kitty's also hit about as hard with full T3+5/6 pure vit. barb's ToP Arma, just to compare.

    So Kitty wouldn't wonder if pure str. barb easily rolled higher AR than highest HP vit. barb equivalents would hit with ToP-arma.

    For me i hit more with Ancestral.

    3 spark + ancestral do more damage that my arma. I don't have a vit barb to compare.

    If you look for pvp arma is easy to use than 3 spark + ancestral.

    Ancestral has higher damage potential. By quite a long shot.


    It's somewhat like blade tempest vs the other wiz ultis. Early on they're about even but a maxed out blade tempest has better damage potential than the other two.

    TO be exact:

    If I compare my DMG on the test Mob and my current built I deal ~20% more dmg with an Ancestral rage compared to my Arma with same debuffs (Note: The Ancestral was with triple spark, fully stacked BloodRush and Fire element pot combined with frenzy and EP).

    My Arma-HP are around 70k with ToP.

    It's very certain that the full vit arma will deal more dmg then the full str Ancestral.

    Max. damage potential for your Arma would be around 10,75mil damage with all possible debuffs on target.

    Kitty took a look at your gear showcase, but Kitty can't calculate sparked base attack enough accurately with just the stats on the video.

    So, assuming it would be 70k Kitty came up with around 10,05mil damage from Sparked Ancestral Rage with all possible debuffs. Your base damage would probably be stronger though with Blood Rush, so Kitty's probably underestimated.
