I just managed to log on from the uk ... but was dc'd after about 10 mins, and now cannot log on again0 -

Thanks!
Update: We're still having some routing issues, which we're trying to resolve with our ISP, but it shouldn't be affecting everyone like it was earlier.
is there anyone that is actually able to log in after Sparkies report that theres only little problems left to fix..I have not been able to find anyone thats been able to log yet.0 -

I know one person: a dude in the UK on Dreamweaver, plus a handful of West Coasters and such. Heard that Dynasty had 19 folks on last night. Kindrid had more.b:cute The world may be small, but it is far from known.
Why the rage? It's a draining emotion.

okay, I get that every game goes through downtime, but this has been going for over 24 hours. I haven't seen any other game go down unintentionally for this long.
well, at least I appreciate the update on the situation, thanks sparkiesoft.0 -
Still down.... are you guys even trying?0

This is getting old now, PW. I know you're trying your best here Sparkie and all the corporate bigwigs are probably not listening like they never do but this game has had problem after problem after more problems. Goon glitch, +10 giveaway which was then abused and retracted (I'm still butthurt that I didn't get my +10 orbs by the way) and then you go and make FC un-hyperable and give us this earning time stuff. Fix the game, please. It's broken and you're breaking it more by making it less fun. What is greater than God,

Ya I cant log onto harshlands either. Maybe time to catch up on some movies.0

... Sorry for not being East Coast and joining in, my sympathies to you.
But I see at least three threads on the subject, and considering game outages are a big deal I wanted to sound out a few things.
First - To the players raging about things being down, how much do you know about servers? Networking software? Hardware? Are you aware of how many factors ARE PWI's responsibility, and how many are not?
Second - What's the weather like?
--Seriously? I'm located in the Pacific Northwest, so big storms knock down trees, knock down lines, a power substation goes down (may or may not be due to weather) thingsl like that can effect communications if they are enroute between you and a sender. I'm also thinking of sites I couldn't access a couple years ago when Hurricane Sandy played havoc on New England - so it doesn't have to be local. And this again is beyond PWI's influence to repair.
Third - If you knew in exact detail what was going on - a software glitch, a physical component going out, the ISP being in a snit - would you guys (all palyers, not just East) quit griping so much?
It's nice and all to hear that a problem is known and being worked on, but personally would love to know specifics - even if it doesn't affect me specifically.♪ "Once I thought the World was made for me"

sometimes I wonder if I should shell out a 20 on gold... I've been tempted a few times, but eh, honestly I have other things I need to pay before considering putting money on a game marketed as free. also considering I have my end-game gear and my alts can wait. matter of getting skills, refines and shards these days.
the thing that gets to me about this situation is that both my bf and I work, and our play time is reduced already because of a ton of things. pwi is something we do together and we usually have fun doing too, so... well it's annoying not to be able to while we can. I can live without it, I've done it before, I've been playing for like a year.
but at my age, it's like... yeah, I'm not mad. annoyed though, definitely. I have other games to tide me over, but yeah, I wanna play pwi on my usual server lol.0 -
