Unplayable lag

for the last 2 days huge lag spikes, it isnt my connection, internet, or computer, its only PWI. I can understand one day of lag but now its an on going issue affecting many people on the server. So whats being done about it? anybody looking into the issues? Been fighting with the lag for 2 days but its got to the point now where the game is unplayable, takes 10-20 secs for a skill to work after hit the button and I'm disconnected every 5 mins on Heavens tear server. I dont really expect a responce from our CM I'm sure he is busy with other games and situations like this that require immediate maintance arent really that important, But it would be nice if the mods dont bury the thread so maybe at some point this week the CM might see it and pass a long the word that theres MAJOR problems with the server and game that need emergency maintance or repairs etc.

On a side note, noticed on fridays NW on heavens tear there were only 100 players on each team. I dont know how much to read into that because it was Halloween, but thats the lowest number of players for a friday NW I have ever seen on heavens tear holiday or not. i know the games dying but seems to be dying quicker than anybody realizes, if we keep losing players at this rate by middle of next year this game will be down to 50 players on each team on one of its more populated servers which is probably unsustainable for PWI to keep this game going. but not like thats a important issure for our CM or anything just what i noticed on friday and its a shame. Back to the the main point, until this lag issue is fixed the game is unplayable for me and many others, so that might be something you might want to look into or get fixed pretty soon you know when you get around to it this week or this month or this year or whenever.

    oh sorry you must be new to PWI, let me explain how things work. See you make thread and after its ignored for a day, you make another thread and people keep making more and more until it takes on the importance for CM to actually see it or care enough to log on and pass the word that they have major issues to fix, only then will things get fixed been that way for years. Sorry you didnt know how PWI works and sorry it clutters up your forum, i know theres so many more important issues much more Important than 20% of the players not being able to play. I mean really we all should throw a fit if theres more than one post on such an unimportant issue like this one, We all should probably just try to bury all these threads and hide them and just ignore the problems, like people have done for years, that way nothing gets fixed.

    And no, its not his connection, neither my connection (Im suffering the same, like many other people, since the same day, with same signs.

    Im bored of people saying "its your connection", "check your net". NO, IT ISNT. Your are not the only one who knows some about nets.

    When lots of people from all over the world, have the same trouble at the same time, just with THIS game. I dont think its a "check your net" trouble.

    And yes, maybe (or maybe not) its not a pwi server issue, but its a pwi issue, since CUSTOMERS cant reach the pwi business.

    Its like you had a McDonalds on a street, but the street is blocked by a truck. Yes, its not your truck, yes, its not your street, BUT YOUR MCDONALS IS EMPTY.
    So what would you say to your customers??? "Please, call townhall to repair unblock the street" cause you, the customer cant reach the restaurant,
    or should be THE AFFECTED BUSINESS, WHO SHOULD DO ITS BEST TO FIX THE TROUBLE.

    A 500m year company i think that have more possibilities to be heard by ISPs than a guy claiming he cant play a game, dont you think?

    And we are a little angry since we wait many months for a &%$%@# 2xdrops, and we have lost 2 days and spent many hours just to get a "@#$%&= "check your net" answer...

    not as much as we love the everybodys doing a good job mentality, PWI great company, everyone does their job well, if they arent doing thier job well make excuses for them and act like everything is great and god for bid anybody ever calls them out for being MIA all the time. its thinking like yours thats allowed the game to go down hill for so many years instead of saying wait a minute maybe the people you trust to run this game maybe arent caring or working as hard as u think they are in your great world of lolipops and rainbows.


    As far as anybody being entitled. Many people invested 5 years + in this game. They have more than enough right to expect more than what PWI has done for the last 5 years, its a company that makes over 500 million dollars a year. maybe in your world of rainbows and lollipops you feel they have done a good job for u and thats fine, but dont say that those who expect more or are displeased over the constant failings of this company arent entitled to expect more.

    and you gonna have a much better laugh in a year when this game closes. You dont want anybody to criticize PWI you want to ignore all the problems for years and say people shouldnt be entitled to anything better. Your mentality and thinking is we as players arent entitled to anybody doing their job that they get paid to do. we dont deserve any fixes for the 500 million dollars a year we gave to the company for the last 5 years, so with your mentailty since you dont put any pressure on them at all to do anything, guess what? they dont have to do anything, which is what they have done for the last 5 years. its not like your gonna stand up and say people who arent doing their job should be fired, of course you wouldnt say that cuz that might take some testicular fortitude which you clearly have none

    If you have even bothered to read the other threads, or Sylen's stickied threads, you'd figure out that, yea it may not be your connection. It also may not be PWI's servers. Without any information on your system, traceroutes, etc, all you're doing is blindly complaining.

    Use one of the other threads. No need to make several hundred about this.

    Also, do check a traceroute to see where the actual problem is. The example from the stoneface above is rather amusing because the McDonald's in that scenario wouldn't be able to do anything about the truck unless it happened to be their truck. Same thing would apply to PWI and a hub that they have no direct control over. b:chuckle
