3X event and DC

for 4 of the 6 days so far I have not been able to adequately connect to PWI for long periods of time. During this time I have noticed both lost and morai servers have been having troubles also. I already checked with my service provider and had them verify it was not my connection causing problems. I think it in poor taste during the very few 2x drop event we have so many are being DC if you have been DC and feel the same way I do I think we should petition a extension of the event another week.

    just because its not your connection does not mean that its PWI's fault, it can be along the way..have you done a traceroute and such that sylen has posted literally 1000 times and is in his sig?

    the info might just be in a sticky on technical support forum..seeing as you havent posted any of the info you would learn from it...im guesssing you havent actually put much effort in here

    it is not I checked with my service provider. and I am not the only one having a problem and have been for over half the event

    ..dear god please read

    your service provider does not determine the entire router between you and the pwi servers, there is a lot inbetween, that is unless of course you live within throwing distance of pwi hq

    you have basically said "the guy that maintains my driveway said my driveway is fine so of course the entire road to the entire side of the country is congestion free"

    I'm not sure where you're getting the numbers for all these people dcing constantly.
    I have had zero problems, heard of no one having any problems on my server and judging from the amount of bots that came back to life for the week of 2x, all looks pretty normal.
    Your post is the first I have heard of this, which also makes it more likely the problem is somewhere between you and PWE, and not PWE themselves.
    If the server crashes or mass d/c's during normal drops/exp, the forum is plastered with QQ and questions. You can be sure if this was in any way a widespread problem during 2x, the forums would be filled with it.
    An ISP check is in no way a sure way to know whats going on between you and the PWI servers. Their checks are not conclusive and exclude other factors. All that tells you is that the connection between you and your ISP is good. Nothing more.

    No DC problems and surprisingly very little lag, a few weeks ago I was getting much more lag.

    Connection seems alright oither then it does spike a bit quickly but my ping is sitting at 1100 right now and usually is 150. It has stayed in the red for the entire x3. Even if I am farming or NOT, lag is relevant and not everyone is going to see it obviously.

    They do need to fix the issue, and one way is regulating catshops, or timing out people that sit afk after a specific amount of time like almost EVERY other MMO.

    So for those that say no dc or lag at all, gratz to you, but for those that have been sitting in lag the entire time, sorry but pwi doesnt really care anymore or else they would focus on this game more then the other NEWER ones ;[

    No issues here. Only DC I had was for daylight savings maintenance. You poll doesn't include an option for no extension for 2x/3x event because one is not needed.

    Have been Dc'ed multiple times between Oct 28th and Dec 4th

    Just saying Dec 4th has't happened yet.

    However I would be all in for extended 3x exp. b:laugh

    No DC issues here, nor any real lag to speak of. Only issue I have had is an approximate 2 meter distance rubberbanding when clicking an NPC or occasional mob, but that has been going on for a few weeks.

    Lagged twice past week, not bad enough to stop my TT farming; didn't ever DC.

    Only 1 person said he was lagging during the time I was online, so it is not a general issue.

    Also, I think the problem was on my end, because one of those days my sister was throwing a party, a lot of people were using my wifi.

    Haven't been DCing and I experienced lag issues at one day only - no clue why, though. I think it was related to my own connection.

    No need to extend the 3x.
