System messages

What is the reason that we cannot disable system messages? Because they are rather annoying as hell. For example i don't care who got what recently from packs and if i want to know what is on sale i will open up boutique and look for myself i don't need to be spammed about it every 5 minutes, and the first time buyer pack...yes everyone seen it at least 100 times by now and new players i believe go to arc/pwi or whatever site and can definitely notice ''free aurora'' tab before they start so just remove that system message already... Sky pirate fine keep it doesn't happen every 5 minutes and useful to know. But otherwise it's just red spam over and over again about things that i don't care.. Someone got Ancient emblem, i don't care! Free Aurora mount! yes ok i have seen it about 5000 times now stopped caring about that after the first time i saw that! If only pwi would be as good as advertising the game as it's in trying to make people to spend money to get a free mount, then we would have more people and they wouldn't have to worry about telling them to spend money!!

    They're -supposed- to be important announcements and things of that nature coming from either the game's staff or a useful system message that shouldn't be ignored.

    ... But yeah Duke shouting about packs, among other things, have made people ignore them far more than we were originally meant to. Granted, there are people that ignored them anyways beforehand but now they have even more of an excuse to do so.

    Well... I do have to say that Duke is so much more quiet and mellow now than when he 1st started shout outs about what people got from packs. Duke made it everyone's business to know what almost everyone got from packs other than tokens. That was a real PITA. But it that wasn't bad those perfect horns came out and all of the sudden the immature WC idiot trolls found their way into guild chats, squad chats, and PMs in Large and colorfulannoying text just as often as they did in WC.

    Knowing how bad it was back then I'm counting my blessings what it currently is is just what it is b:chuckle

    Honestly its not that bad. Its annoying but when u conpare it to when they gave us the 10 star orbs its was nonstop for like a week. So a stystem message every copal hours isnt bad. And i kinda like it anoucing when someone gets something good makes it easy to buy it cheap. But some stuff like anicent embles shoudnt be anounced thats just annoying and a cheap item.

    You know there was a time when Duke would announce when someone got Perfect Token of Best Luck. What we have now is pretty tame compared to that.

    It's not actually every 5 minutes. There are currently 3 repeating broadcasts.

    It's not really all that common but it is really noticeable when you have several of them occurring at once due to the irregular timings. I bet the reason they aren't regular timings is because they aren't capable of specifying a delay offset in the timing function due to lazy devs so they space them out like this. I bet if they adjusted to regular timings it would be much less annoying.
