Spend Promotion and Bidding Hall

I was wondering if the gold spent in the bidding hall went towards a spend promotion or not? Thanks for any replys

    Offhand I want to say it should, but with the way the manage content, it's very likely that it will only apply to items purchased from the regular Boutique tab.

    I haven't ever tested it though, so hard to say for sure.

    Gold spent on Boutique items only count is credited for the spend promotion. Buying gold from the AH and spending it in the boutique is also credited for the spend promo. Selling gold in the AH does not get credited for the spending promo as per info from another thread. If it did I wonder what the AH gold price listing would be b:chuckle That and I really ravaged the AH buying gold to see how many times I can repeat the 75 gold promo limit. I think I did it 6 times and pissed some off by driving gold prices almost to 3 mil, LOL!

    That doesn't really answer my question, I asked if gold spent in the nightly bidding hall (where four different items go up for bid) counts towards a spend promotion.

    As I stated above it tied into the boutique. Gold is directly drafted from the boutique for anything bought in the bidding hall so I would assume so since it is a purchase from the boutique and not a transfer like the AH.
