TW Results! - 10/18/2014 (Saturday)

BwareOfUs attacks Broken Dreams Island held by Leviathan - Wined, BwareOfUs takes Broken Dreams Island.

Vertu attacks Forest of Haze held by Leviathan - Levi brought 35+ish to TW, Vertu had 13 (?) and they tried to fight valiantly, however Leviathan keeps Forest of Haze. Also... THIS IS VERTUUUUUU!

PILIPNAS attacks Haunted Path held by MYRMIDONE - PILIPNAS takes Haunted Path in 2 hours.

Leviathan attacks Black Mountain held by Vertu - Wined, Leviathan takes Black Mountain.

LEGIONES attacks King's Feast held by Vertu - LEGIONES told they had about 30-35 (however many suggest they really had 50+) vs Vertu's 16, LEGIONES pushed A and C lane and had better formation than last time. Vertu lacked clerics during the first half of TW. LEGIONES takes King's Feast.

Vicious attacks Thousand Streams held by QQme - QQmes 80 vs Vicious 50ish, a full 3h TW. First two hours QQme turtled, focusing on stopping Vicious' catapushes. They lost some towers but also had some of their catas on Vicious towers, however QQme had to keep the fight defensive and keep stopping Vicious' pushes. Things got more even and TW was pretty much stationary fight, nothing radical happening on either side. During the last hour QQme catas took some Vicious towers down. QQme keeps Thousand Streams.

LOLIANCE attacks The Harshlands held by BlackList - TW took about 35 min, BlackList pushed B and C lane, got to LOLIANCE base and took their crystal down, fun tw, BlackList keeps The Harshlands.

MYRMIDONE attacks Thousand Wood Ridge held by PILIPNAS - PILIPNAS keeps Thousand Wood Ridge.

BloodBath attacks Mount Lantern held by YouTEK - BloodBath takes Mount Lantern.

Marine attacks Wellspring Village held by WalknDead - WalknDead keeps Wellspring Village.

Apparently QQme also had at least +5 attack/defense buff in their TW against BwareOfUs even though they have more lands. Maybe this is initial buff for everyone?

Alright over the every week occurance of down talking Levi. We are who we are. You can either like us or hate us, the existance of haters just proves we are in peoples minds which is ok with me to. So if you do hate us that is your choice but you just dont have the conplex mind to understand us, or you just suffer from the C.A.R. Syndrom. If you dont know what that stands for im sorry if you want to know feel free to ask and I will tell ya, but for now keep thinking you know what Levi is or how they are because if you think you know than that just proves you are clueless.

well if Levi was smart they would of fought bware if they could of beat them bware would of been gone from that area and wouldnt been able to attack Levi anymore but instead they attack a small faction again lmao i guess there waitingb:byeb:surrender for QQme to kill off bware but then when that happens all thats left to attack is small factions and QQme so Levi tw season about over cause you no they wont attack QQme

There is one word that defines your whole statement. "If".

Let's say if Leviathan did go to beware and fought them rather than going to Vertu and fighting there. Let's say if Levi did win vs BeWare and were able to stop them. Yes, you are right that if we won, we would be able to stop BeWare and QQme would be able to wipe BeWare out of that part of the map. But that wouldn't stop QQme from wanting to get DW Port from Levi.

Now let's say if Levi did go to BeWare but didn't win vs them. Not only does Levi lose to BeWare, Levi would have also lost to Vertu becuz of the wine, meaning two territories lost to one territory lost. More gold lost for the faction and more drama simply becuz we gave into pressure and went and fought a faction where it was a 50-50 win/lose.

In the end, we did choose the right and smart option. We went with the lesser of two evils. Fought the smaller faction and won rather than fight the even faction and have a chance at winning.

Last TW season, QQme got four-way ganked. Rather than going after Vicious and fighting a winning battle and losing maybe 1-2 lands, they went after the three smaller factions, guaranteeing a lost land but winning 3 lands. Once again, QQme chose the lesser of two evils. Taking out the smaller factions so that they could keep more land as opposed to fighting the bigger faction and losing more than they wanted to give.

This is called TW Politics.

lmao from what i read from people in forums Levi is the 3rd biggest faction in RT and should prob fight faction on there lvl but we all see that thats not gonna happen so good luck on fighting little faction cause i guess its the only factions you can win against i guess there hopeing for a map reset cause there only 3 little faction left they can beat lmao gogo Levi b:thanksb:chuckle

To be honest I don't think you should go to a TW faction just so you can remain impartial in your reports.

And as far as Levi goes, hay you never know they could go after LEGIONS. After all LEGIONS can bring 50+ to TW, should be a good fight.

Bringing numbers into TW isn't a guarantee for victory. But the same could be said for bringing only the strongest to a TW.

Hypothetically speaking, LEGIONES can bring 50+ into a TW. But if those 50+ are all one shots, it wouldn't make much of a difference in a grand scheme of thing. Let's also say if LEGIONES only brought 10 ppl but they were all full geared. Harder fight squad vs squad but if the other faction brought more members, they can outmaneuver the 10 ppl. Too much stuff really to consider.

Last week and this week, it was said that during the vici and qqme war, QQme brought 80 and Vicious brought 60 (according to Colum). Yet, the numerically inferior faction was able to bring the numerically superior faction to a 3 hour war. Just shows that sometimes, bringing more people into a TW won't always make you a winner.

I think the point of contention most people have in these posts against Levi is that Levi made it seem like they were doing TWs for the fun and difficult fights when in actuality, land count is more important to them. Indeed, it is TW politics and there's nothing particularly wrong with that. The problem was that a couple weeks ago, Levi projected itself as a faction that wasn't going to let TW politics (ie land count) dictate its actions and instead go for the best available fight.

Personally, I would've like to see Levi at least try to double defend. I understand that Levi had poor numbers for TW so they did what they felt was in their best interests and minimized their losses. However, in the future, if Levi does get their usual numbers and get ganked again, I'd like to see them at least try to defend rather than immediately concede and go after the "lesser evil."

Also, using the QQme v Vici TWs as an example is a poor one, especially regarding the last two weeks. ~20 atk/def lvls kind of skews matters.

We can keep our land count while having good TWs. It's not one or the other. You guys are judging Levi on a week-by-week basis. We're making decisions based on weeks into the future. Levi has had good TWs this season, and we've done what we can to keep our land count up. It's not impossible to cover all the bases.

Gears count, but until a certain point. When you have to defend 3 lanes at the same time even with 16 well geared players, it's gonna be extremely tricky, but ofc i don't pretend you understand that since your faction doesnt fight outnumbered; and btw legiones players aren't as bad geared as you think, i.e they have more r9rr archers than levi, more r9rr seekers than levi, more r9rr barbs than levi and actually imo better tw's strategies. if they ever to attack levi and actually show up with the same numbers they did last week, well, i'm not sure who's gonna pull the victory.

they outnumbered our weak sign ups and beat levi if u remember.. around late august early september

I think this is a very fair post overall. But I'd like to clarify this point - until about 15 minutes before TW, Levi intended to wine Vertu and go to the Bware TW. But 2pm TWs are a weakness for us (and many other factions), we had fewer people than those who signed up, fewer show up than the amount we felt comfortable fighting Bware with, and we were missing many of our tankiest, heaviest hitters.

We made the best move for our faction, because it wouldn't have been the same fight we had last week. But that doesn't mean we aren't disappointed about it. I for one really would have enjoyed the same war again!

@ DS, I remeamber a really great post by Zarkin not too far back where he said the reason Vertu beat LEG was because they had strategy and worked together as a team, while LEGIONES did not. In fact, they had NO organization whatsoever, from what I hear, until this past TW. I'm not sure how you are judging our TW strategies - which have massively improved this season, since we are actually having good TWs again. We only needed a B Push vs Vertu. That doesn't mean that's all we are capable of doing.

Honestly sorry if it's offensive to you, but I'm not sure how else to say it vs accusations like that.

that's what im trying to point out, Legiones kept attacking us even after all those defeats and against the odds and eventually winning, with triple of players, but still winning vs better gears and TW knowledge. They stepped their game up, unlike Leviathan where this will never happen.

To answer at " what do you know about our tw tactics"... there are these things called alts.. u know..

hmm i guess your right jen when alot of the third best faction in RT used botting to lvl or very undergear sins you might need 50 or 60 to beat 20 to 25 lmao but good job QQme will take care of bware for you then u can take your powerfull facttion and beat the last 3 little faction by you then tw done for you til map reset
