About spend promo

So Im bad at this pacific time stuff so can someone tell meif this NEW promo started yet? It says it starts on Start Date: Friday, October 10th 2014 @ 12:01AM PDT

    It would have started when Thursday becomes Friday (midnight) so it was active when you posted this.


    My question is this:

    During the promotion, Spend Gold to start earning rewards. There are 3 tiers to what you can earn for yourself, and if you reach the 3rd tier, you will earn all possible rewards!

    Tier Gold Amount Item

    1 20 Gold War Avatar B Chest x2

    2 50 Gold War Avatar Pack S x2

    3 75 Gold Dragon Orb Ocean x1


    In past promos this tier one has always been A chests. Is this a typo or are we intentionally being downgraded?

    I believe it's a downgrade because in the past the ocean was on a spend 50g get one, limit was also 1. So now limit is 10 and you get crappier chest and more expensive oceans.

    It doesnt make sense lol If it was x2 A chest I for one would 100% at least spend 20 gold. But for B chests and 75 gold for a 10*, it really doesnt entice me to buy/spend gold lol b:laugh

    I like the promo very much and think it's better than getting a chests or spending 50g to get 1 ocean. This one promotion will allow me enough spending to refine my sin and start it out on some cards. The limit being 10 makes it worth it. If you were smart you bought all the gold you could from ah during **** sales and off weeks with charge rewards where gold demand was lower.

    The stench of desperation with a hint of greed.
    They want people to spend LOTS of cash this time, not just a small amount. But of course they've removed the A Chests, which for me at least was the only reason to take part in the promotion.

    It's of no benefit to me, I won't be doing it this time around.
    Perhaps if they knew their **** from their elbow they'd have more of an understanding of what it is the players actually want.
    B Chests most certainly are NOT it.

    I'd assume this time it's all about milking the big cash shoppers. They must know the average spender won't bother with this one.

    I know it's not a charge promo, but let's be real. The average player got no where near 750 g to spend. Hell, the average player got no where near 75 g to spend xD So cash shopper and merchant exclusive spend promo imo. And there is nothing wrong with that, since they have to cater to different groups of people. Last week we had 2x A cards for 20g, that's very good for the average player but not for the rich people who already got full S cards. It evens out.

    It's okay guys, this week it's even BETTER!

    Now it's 25 gold for those amazing B cards, to get the S chests it's gone from 50 to 55 gold.

    Another thing I find very amusing is:
    According to the Medal of Glory, Wildlife Pack, and More! post in the New section on 10/7, the wildlife packs are 50% off. Their current sale prices are:
    1 pack - 60 silver
    10 packs - 5 gold 85 silver
    20 packs - 11 gold 40 silver
    50 packs - 27 gold
    100 packs - 52 gold 80 silver
    If you click on these in boutique you will see normal prices as follows:
    1 pack - 1 gold
    10 packs - 9 gold 75 silver
    20 packs - 19 gold
    50 packs -45 gold
    100 packs - 88 gold

    Mind you, I'm no calculator, but those numbers don't seem to be half. Just some information consumers should be aware of and hopefully PWI will make note to ensure what's advertised matches what's being charged.
