Jollywallet?

Is anyone else having this intrusive bar Jollywallet at the top of their browser window and sometimes covering the forum with a signup window?
It says "click here to get .65 cash back on this site" and after looking it up, you either download and run it or the site itself is partnered with them. I'm only getting this bar when I visit the forum for some reason.

Don't have it. Then again I have Addblocker. I assume you don't have it and that's why you get that advertisement. It's pobably a scam either way so avoid that site.0

Thank you! I do have AdBlocker Plus but apparently I had too many filters. I removed a few and I don't get the jollywallet thing anymore. Thanks again b:victory
Eh, scratch that, it's back again0 -
Jollywallet is adware, it usually gets installed through installation of (free) software and not looking at what you install (aka pressing the next button blindly)
Go to your computer's control panel -> programs and features (or software, depending on your OS) -> look for jollywallet -> uninstall
Depending on what browser you use, you're gonna have to uninstall the extension from your browser as well:
For firefox:1 Click Tools and select Add-ons.
2 On the Extensions and Plugin search for the JollyWallet add-on and remove it.
For chrome:1 Click on the Customize icon (wrench or 3 bar icon) next to the address bar and navigate to Tools > Extensions.
2 Remove JollyWallet extensions.
It has nothing to do with PWE's site though0 -

I first tried checking in Task Manager - nothing.
Next tried checking for it installed (as you mentioned) - nothing.
I checked my add-ons/extensions/servies for FireFox - nothing.
I went to all the sites I do shop from and it did not come up. It only appears in the forum part of the site here. b:surrender0 -

Are you on an administrator account?
Can you show us a screenshot of the bar on forums?
What extensions do you have installed in firefox?
Last thing you could do is either reset firefox entirely OR uninstall ALL extensions, and then reinstall them 1 by 1 to see which is the culprit. Could be a malicious extension causing it.0 -

Hi noodlepunch!
My name is Karen and I am a part of the jollywallet team. I would be happy to clarify and assist.
jollywallet is a browser application that automatically displays cash back offers and coupons when you shop online, allowing you to save as you shop! it's not a virus nor does it harm your computer in any way.
The jollywallet app can be uninstalled and disabled in several ways; you can click on the action button under the X and disable it or visit our online uninstall instructions page where you will find detailed, browser specific instructions: http://www.jollywallet.com/jollywallet/uninstall
Feel free to contact us directly at: support@jollywallet.com
Regard,
Karen0
