Has anyone made an account on PWCN?

Wanting to try out the new classes coming to PWCN on the 24th, but I hear you need to have a chinese phone # for sign up which I could prob obtain, anything else I need? Is there a guide somewhere to making an account on there with translations to the chinese text?

    No last time I check you do not really need a phone number to sign up, well it can be one of the option. Overall there is no difference in signing up here, only thing I would say is you need "social identification number" Chinese version of SSN. but those you can just find a fake one off Google CN, if you don't, you will be list under some sort of anti addiction system, which is basically allow you to play maybe 8 hrs a day. Yeah the people in china are addicted to the web, then again aren't we all. b:chuckle

    this^ i would also like to note from a friend who plays there. the USA is a "banned region" on PWCN servers. there are ways around it but its against the ToS and an instant perma ban if your caught.

    You can download the client here: http://w2i.wanmei.com/download/down_client.htm
    But I recommend using the test server client instead since the test server gets patches 1 week in advance http://w2i.wanmei.com/download/down_try.htm
    If you want to connect to the test server look for "体验" in the server list.

    Also if you are having trouble downloading a huge file from china use this

    Make sure to install the client in an English folder name as some people have problems when the install location is in Chinese. I installed it to C:\Games\PWCN

    Oh, since you're just here Asterelle, just a quick question, where's the calculator for shards on your website, haven't seen it since avatar calculator was added.

    I don't really care for it because I don't see it ever being anything more than a glorified spreadsheet. I think tools are interesting when they are more visual.

    compare with pwi, pwcn is totally fail and broken

    the third party bot, expansive item (like R9).


    u can't log in new server cuz thousands of third party bot

    they just finish some quest to earn some coins but they can run 100+ accounts by each computer ( they even don't need open client). Then they sell coins for money in site. It is legal to sell/buy items for pwcn.

    Just what I was looking for but failed to find with my awesome knowledge of the chinese language b:victory Had to use FDM just as well but works flawlessly, thanks for this ^^

    I used to have one for the beta-test servers, but it's been ages since they asked for my advice on stuff, or to test anything so I haven't used it.

    If all fails ask bubbles, I know shes quite the pro when it comes to setting up the CN client

    Yup. That sorta thing is why we've had all those anti-bot measures placed in the game (DQ nerfs, low level item nerfs, etc) and the devs eventually giving up and creating their own bot.

    China has anti-bot quizzes too, works even with the auto culti on, so what's the point?

    Well with all their anti-bot measures being beat by bots, they just kinda gave up. Unfortunately for us, I doubt they're going to revert them either so... we're screwed in that aspect. Hooray!

    Thanks! Sorry had my net struck out in the entire area I live by a thunderstorm, just got it back. Will try and get on there following what you have posted.

    One thing that Asterelle didn't mention, is that after downloading it, it will have a chinese named folder. Change that foldername to english or you won't be able to (auto)patch the client.

    Also those quizies might not fend off bots, but sure got me banned for 5min xD (failure to answer the quiz correctly = 5min ban)

    I wasn't planning to bot at all on there anyway. Or does it come up even while your normal questing? Also any english word would allow it to auto update or a specific one?

    you have about 1k ping on those servers constantly, so normal questing is quite annoying. I turned up F12 for a minute and got the quiz. Got banned ofc, relogged and immediatly got the quiz again, luckily this time guessing the right answer.

    No english words at all on the client, but when you launch "Laucher.exe", it should be the button on the bottomright that'll autopatch it.

    I had an account on wanmei from testing 1 of their games, i guess 1 account can be used in all their games?! I remember the page where i registered at, was exactly like the register page you sent.

    Downloaded twice pw2 test client through download manager and i keep getting data8.pck corrupted -.- anyone got same problem? because without the program, its takes up to 10h :| Or if anyone can upload that file even tho its a bit big, i would appreciate.

    PWI couldnt survive if 1.5m were alt accounts. It's just not practical to think so simple-minded. The fact that PWI has been here for 7+Years means that the Fictional "Thousand of players" who keep Leaving doesn't exist. PWI has made so much earnings that they are doing a Huge expansion. Those aren't Free if you're wondering. Give Credit where it's due. It should be Law.

    eventhogh their economy is incresing, the still hesitate to give decent gifts to their players, giving x5 hypers or 2 profundity scrol,, as if those things make the difference in a game, come on some comon sense?

    we should have been given a S card at least for staying on this game. but who knows.
