Honestly, it's been a while since I've seen this suggested. I remember it first being suggested particularly around when the sins r9rr daggers had a glitched texture. Now before I stray off topic:

PWCN has there own models used for their rank 9 recast. We actually have every single one of the models used on the PWCN servers in our models.pck. since a lot of gears are unused in our version, why can we not replace our current models with the newer unused ones? it would make the graphics a bit more diverse and add a much less "cookie cutter" feel to the gear. One thing I always liked about the Tideborn and Earthguard was how each rank gear looked different, I was sorely disappointed when i found out the rank 9 set still looked like a lobster >.>

I'm sure most people can agree... that these look better then having Morai copies running around, and its literally an edit that would take no effort at all:

    Agree and support, even though I don't really like how venomancers armor looks, but I'd love to have basic r9 look of the weapon. R8r isn't too bad, but can't be compared with the dragon staff :/

    Wizzies have nice gear, especially female . And female mystic too...
    What I don't really like is how most of the endgame weapons look, oversized and with white glow. I'd personally request some neat weapon fashion, that still looks like a weapon, so we could modify it's looks.

    I'm not even R9, but why not? Diversification is good... More loading time is also good... Kappa
    Notice: Any game is better than PWI atm, so give PWI a break and go try other MMOs! Do it...

    I still think there could be at least a few "themes" available for some gear. Or the already discissed capability of dying gear. Rank 9 gear (and a few others, but not all) look hideous. b:surrender

    I remember this. It's still lovely and should be done.
    Same with the weapon retextures, if that also hasn't been done and we have cockroach archers running around unable to upgrade more OTL.

    Dying gears, or being able to wear gears as fashion is a few other idea's i've heard around. Altho I don't think we will see that any time soon unfortunately :/ I suggested a simple mesh swap since thats as easy as simply renaming a folder >.> hell hackers and modders have been doing this for years, it literally takes 30 seconds. thats why I suggested it simply on how easy it is to accomplish. how ever modding the files is against the ToS and I'd like to see a legit change for it. I agree that the weapons are not very sightly as well. I know there are many unused weapons we have in the files, some things haven't even been implemented in the game and probably never will >.< (whips, bows, scythes, etc) the model data is there, just not used. you can find a lot of things we don't have in there. some things pwcn doesn't even have in there. but that's a bit off topic.

    it would be nice having some "unique r9 and t3" gear that actually looks different from anything currently in the game.

    That's sad indeed.. Hope they at least reintroduce them later as a weapon skins or something. Nice artworks should not go to waste. And so many current endgame weapons looking like a shapeless glowing mess to me. I'd rather picture a high-end weapon looking a bit more elegant b:chuckle

    As far as I know they exist in other versions and localization of pw, but removed from pwi. When I got tired of staff look, small rose was a perfect change, even though it was bugged b:chuckle
