Forum Avatar Problem

Ok I've tried to change my avatar both on the Arc Browser and on Firefox, but it won't load the page to change my avatar at all. How do I fix this?

    I have also recently experienced this issue. I logged in last night for the first time in quite some time. I decided that I was going to change my forum avatar, or at least see what kind of options there were on that page. When it did finally load (more than 20 seconds later). My currently used avatar did not show up, and I made what I now know to be a mistake clicking the default stone face avatar. Upon clicking that image, it not only changed my forum avatar, but also reset my post count. Here is a link to an image showing what the page looks like, and which icon I clicked causing the issue. I urge everyone who attempt to change their forum avatar to not click the avatar. That is, unless you would like to see your post count reset!

    Technically, your old post count is intact... just that it's on what the forum considers a seperate account. Each avatar, while linked to one login ID/Password, is considered a different account when it comes to things like user profiles, PMs, post counts, join date, and so on. So your old avatar and post count are still there... just you can't get to them because of this issue. :/

    I see, that is quite a relief. I mean don't get me wrong I did not have much of a post count. However, I was rather discouraged to find that it had appeared to reset. Thank you Kossy for the quick response. I have read the 7 pages on the link you provided earlier from another post about this same issue. What I read is quite concerning. Being a long time player of PWI and member of the forums it is upsetting to find out that the web team is essentially "stumped" on how to fix the original code which is now broken. I sure hope a fix is implemented soon!

    I literally just downloaded Firefox because Safari for windows finally crapped out. I was unable to use Pandora or access my email or even log into this site suddenly yesterday.

    Now I can use Pandora again, log in, and I assume even post pictures on facebook again lol but I forgot my email password and actually need to CALL them to fix it because idk why.

    But yes I saw my avatar was a stone head, tried to change it and had no options to do so. It DID show my psy and I'm logged in as such on the edit screen but after selecting "don't use an avatar" thinking it might then give me options I am left with zip.

    So I guess much like with my email I am pretty boned atm b:surrender
