I was very confused by it, personally. I think it's great you can dye check as a set, and change gender/class.. but the layout itself is just weeeeeird. I'd prefer old interface with new preview system :)

I'm only bothered by not being able to see all of the fashion in one window aswell (I don't mean the types, I just mean the new stuff, "hot" stuff and the stuff that's on sale) and by the lack of the search box that the boutique had for it, unless I just don't see it D:.

I really miss the search feature, made it a x1000 times easier to find fashion. IDK why that was removed. The banner ad is lame. The cart feature for checkout I do like, as well as the preview function for the most part although I wish it was more immediately obvious you can zoom in/rotate/etc. I really like being able to preview sets and change the color of that preview all at once, although I wish all the fashion was able to be previewed as a set and they showed a different icon for each. :P

I like some of the new options it offers, as Vedovis said, but I think it needs improvements.

Right now it's way too big, the icons for the fashion are way too big too which causes you to scroll and scroll. There is no search button either, unless I missed it.

I really like the new layout--before the icons were way too small to see and I had to triple check to make sure I didn't miss something, and actually being able to see the detail on wigs (and anything in general) is great. That was a main problem I had with the old layout.
...but 'Hot' should be 'All' (because that's what it is) and +1 to needing the searchbar.

@ Veneir - oh it's true about the hair pieces though, I still prefer the smaller icons because I found it easier to navigate overall XD either way...search button is a must.

I like it more than I dislike it. The mouse button functions is nice, having no search function isn't. Changing the names of fashion because its a set as opposed to a single piece I don't like. Shopping cart is a plus. Banner is a minus (though this is gaining popularity w game companies and is nothing new.) Changing the class is a definite plus since fashion looks and behaves differently on various classes. Navigation is different but in time will become second nature for fashion lovers so neutral on navigation at the moment. Buying the set at one time is a bonus. Not being told it will be random colors for each piece though known to fashion lovers already, to a novice fashionista will be a shocker.

This probably doesn't count since it's really subtle, but when you roll over a fashion item it has '?' as the colour now, which kind of hints at it being random.
However it also seems that now, if you select a clothing, it will always show in preview as one colour and not cycle through random ones. This may not be the case with all items, but the Prissy dress, for instance, always selects and previews as being pure white.
So it kind of went both ways.....

I actually don't mind the banner at the top, which is odd because that's why I throw a fit about new skype and have their ads blocked in my internet settings...

I like how you can try out on other gender/classes as well, but that's it. They could've made that in the old Preview-window and all would've been fine. Heck I honestly would've preferred it that way.

    Why I dislike everything else:
    - New interface opens new, massive window. I simply don't like massive, can't browse during instancesb:shutup
    - New/Hot/Sale stuff is all in different tabs now and don't add up in an "All" section, because well, there is no "All"-tab, quite confusing and a bit annoying. Would appreciate an All-tab.
    - Weapon Fashion only shows up when you have the desired class, I understand why but an "all"-tab would be greatly appreciated. A lot of new weap fashion went into hiding like this untill you "discover" the proper class+gender
    - Sale icons have disappeared from items, everything is just stuffed into Sale-tab instead, which makes sense to some but I'm not exactly putting my trust in PWI with that one. Would appreciate the glowing "Sale"-mark on items as secure way of buying an item on Sale and not accidentaly in the wrong tab

Trying on fashion for other classes and genders is nice... however, I feel like the interface is cumbersome. It's too large and sloppy.

The oversized gift boxes is a bit much and I preferred the smaller actual preview of what the fashion looks like.

As is, I don't like it and would prefer the other interface. With some tweaks this *could* be nice.

...it's come to my notice after double checking myself about nine times that some fashion that was in the cash shop doesn't exist in there anymore, now that there's no 'all' section.
Like the tiger lily set? Super old and pretty much no one used it ever, but the shoes look okay with the Crown Princess set (and it generally didn't look that bad). Since it would in no reasonable way be a 'hot' fashion, it's gone. :x And I don't think it's been 'retired' since it was in the game's boutique before the update, and its been years since that happened...

Either that or have two pricing levels with fashion sets. One is random pigments for each piece in the set and two is add three or four gold to choose random color fashion set all the same color. It might come out a nasty brown or yellow but at least all pieces would match.

I think it's quite nice now that you can see what fash would look like on every class and gender.

Would be great if they can make it so, when you switch to your spouse's class, you automatically get their character look like you would with yours. That way we can browse for fash and preview base on how it would look on there character. There are so many times where I would to buy fash for my spouse but I don't know how it would look on him and hesitate to buy until I log his toon to preview it. Which is quite a pain.

So it would be awesome if they can add that in there as well, and or for every class we already own in that account.

The character that it previews your clothes on is the same appearance that shows up when you first go to select a race at class selection, for other classes/sexes than your own. So you can essentially have all your characters lined up to preview on, as long as you change the ini for the default, or the last time you made a character of so and so race, it was the appearance you want to preview on.

I voted Hit. The only thing that I don't like, which everyone has already mentioned, is the missing search feature. I especially like that you can access it through your inventory. They should let you access the old interface through the boutique and access the new through your inventory so people could have the best of both worlds. And since the old interface is still there just redirects you more or less seems they could easily make it so that you could still access the old one by simply removing the redirect.

Oh, I hadn't noticed that you could click on the silhouette in the Fashion window of the inventory to get to the fashion shop! That's kind of nice.
Did it used to just be meridian before, or did it lack a link to anything entirely?

    #still needs an 'all' tab.

It actually goes by whatever is the default face for that class in your settings. So just make your hubby's face the default for that class/gender by getting his ini. And starting to create a character of his class, then closing out or something like that. I still need to play with it. Then the default face will change. And you'll be able to see what things looks like on him. I figured this out because my sin is my default face for female sins atm, and I was on my seeker's account and there she was when I clicked sin.

That probably works but if you want your spouse's ini, but then you have to go through quite a few steps...
It's either you buy a makeover scroll on their character and then go do a makeover to save their ini, which then you have to go to your ini files to change it.
Or have your spouse find their ini, send it to you and then edit it.

This could waste some time and money here and there, imagine you married your spouse more than once on different character? Or you married different people? Thats why it would be easier to just be able to somehow just access your spouse's look. This suggestion is probably unlikely to happen, but one can only hope right? xD

What? No. You don't need a makeover scroll. All you need to do is get your spouse to send you their character's ini file and do this: (it's a gif for a guide). Go to where your perfect world file is located, do stuff. The ending ends really quick because it got cut off but nothing important was after it, aside from me clarifying that I'd opened up what would be the female blademaster ini and I would paste that into whatever default character ini.
When I make a note that the default files are genderless it basically means you can put like... male earthguard eyes on female characters. Or male hair on female characters. askgn.

Though you are correct, if you have multiple spouses it could be a problem unless you do not play as the same class that they do on any characters that you'd want to preview, then it's just kind of 'eh'.
And of course if they play the same class as you you'll have to go on an alt to view them as your class....
I suppose having an 'import ___ character to preview in the shop' command would be nice.

Maybe I overlooked it, but is there a way to see how your character looks from the side with it, and from behind? (Similiar to how the old one had the arrows to turn your character, or how you could rotate them with the mouse.) I've been unable to do that so far, so if anyone knows a way to do so...that I might have overlooked, please let me know.

To answer the question, at first I also hated it, but now my vote is slight dislike. It may grow more on me in time, but we'll see. LOL.

From what I've experienced, you move it with your mouse the same way you could in the old ones (just no arrows and you can zoom in waaaay more.) aka right clicks and mouse wheels. ...and a weird thing where you can pick up your character with your left mouse button and move them wherever. (it's useful for looking at hair but it's really weird.)
