Seriously PWI

You're doing as much money grabbing as possible put a GM on the servers to monitor the chatter. The last two weekends on Harshlands the profane racist hate chatter initiated and continued by all the same chars went on for hours

Do your jobs for once GMs and clean it up to say its disgusting and offensive would be an understatement

    Turn off wc/blacklist them. The GMs won't care, even if someone directs that stuff directly at you and you ticket them.

    GM's don't care even with the ToS abuse with multiple toons,i took screens today of a few (maxed out r999)players running 4 toons at a time for rb.Should I report it..nahhhhh cause nothing will happen,because they might lose a well paying customer right pw?b:laugh

    The ability is there to turn off World Chat, as well as Blacklist any players. If a conversation is taken to PMs regarding such material, it can be considered harassment based on the amount of occasions.

    I have actually been able to chase racist spammers off worldchat by threatening to ticket in PM. I think I still have screenies somewhere :U

    Unfortunately that doesnt really work w/ spammers who run on several transient accounts. The best thing to do is blacklist :/ It is more likely that the racist spammers die of old age than actually be silenced by GMs.

    On RT I just turn off WC when things get excessively juvenile

    So the suggested answer is a few chars and their alts and their alts etc own WC and the rest of the server is supposed to not be able to use world chat which is a big part of the game for squads etc!?!?!

    I've had chars banned and perm banned for it and am pushing for a few more

    WC is the worst it's ever been. Hours and hours of profane genitalia chatter and a char named Hitler Jew bashing. If it can't be said here it can't be said in game

    Don't listen to those guys. Me and Asuruaie own worldchat. We inherited it from Golgotha. We're just not on that much anymore, hence why this is happening. Just tell PreeK to hike up tele prices and that'll scare the pretenders away.

    Just try to ignore offensive speakings on WC. It's not even that hard.

    Granted it might take a bit of training. Offensive posts and especially such that have nothing to do with me or anyone I know are automatically filtered by my eyes.

    Being able to ignore others is a blessing. But be aware. Do not ignore just anything. Filter. And react if you need to.

    My biggest problem after playing almost 5 years is who to take OFF the blacklist in order to put some-one new on....

    It's childishly easy to scan wc for this kind of offnesive comments. The fact that pwi doesn't do a thing about it makes clear that they simply don't care at all.

    The world chatters are 1 % of the over all player base. The company *may* think the remainder of players all act and behave in this manner.

    Therefore your complaints or suggestions to changing world chat is a tough one, because these
    world chatters are setting an example of how everyone acts. Which is so not the case.

    To stop world chat craziness, don't participate in it at all. Teles are expenisive enough.
    Open up a chat room only avalible to thoughs that have intelligent conversation or something
    to offer. Or use other types of communication via skype vent or rc.

    There are several chat rooms that can be craeted by you and you can utilize it with a password.
    Check out the chat menue on the lower left hand side of the window.

    Making pw a better brighter place for thoughs to play.
