Arc issue

EDIT: the problem was with anti-virus, i had firewall+antivirus off but it still was blocking the connection. i had to remove it from the start up list


I've got the same exact problem, but i'm not able to fix it at all..i've disabled both my firewall and anti-virus, but still got the problem.
Is there any other way to download games from PWE without Arc?

    I had the same problem but I found a way to fix it that might work for u if u delete arc out of your comp and re download it that might fix your prob it did for me

    Thanks both for replying, but, sorry to say, i don't really know where i can find your thread SylenThunder and for catn, i've already tried to download Arc again but still got the problem.
    I've downloaded Arc a month ago and still couldn't launch it.

    Ok i've read the thread and this is what i did:
    I've disabled my firewall completely, then downloaded Arc again, installed it on a different path, then i've rebooted my computer; after that, i've excluded the entire fold from Avast, i've executed the launcher, waited for it to upload and again the same error.
    I went to the Arc folder and launched the repair exe, failed to repair.

    Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

    Intel Pentium G620 @ 2.60GHz
    Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology

    4,00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 533MHz (7-7-7-20)
