i find this hilarious, just 2 weeks ago i defended your company on facebook, claiming your events are NOT pure cash-related.


and now this? seriously?

How to enter:
Charge at least 10 gold during the raffle weekend to be entered into the raffle. Every 10 gold Charge will be counted as one entry.

big slap into the face of your f2p community.

    In combination with the "coin sink" event it could be seen as a way to get more gold into the servers and at the same time getting rid of coins. One that also makes PWE some money too. It's a brilliant idea in my oppinion, but sadly not the most attractive one..

    It seems to be the most attractive for PWE. It indeed is a brilliant idea because quite a few people will most likely participate.

    There's one answer to all the recent promotions (event gold, raffles, prizes, etc.): They're not making the cash flow they used to make, and they are trying to make their shareholders happy again.

    I agree that this way they will make some money as a business, but this is only a short-term relief for something that requires much greater intervention than sales promotions such as these ones. I have friends who I've known for years who have dropped 30K-70K into this game, who are REFUSING to cash shop now due to the idiocy of PWI administration's way of handling the game. It's sort of sad that they have lost these 'cash cows' by not listening to their community sooner and rather look desperate for money through promotions such as this one. Tsk tsk. So far the activity on my server is almost dead, really wonder how long will it take for them to merge our servers before it's too late b:laugh

    Maybe you are right and I really do think you are right in the aspect that they most likely need to earn more money. The problem is that the people responsible for the recent decisions and a load of decisions from the past are just morons. Really. no offense but...the amount of poor decisions made makes me wanna scream.

    There are already alot of great solutions that have been presented from the community, but no one gives a flying...about them.

    To PWE: If you wanna save and gain some money then stop paying ppl that are obviously unable to perform their jobs properly and listen to the community instead. Or hire me. I'm at least ten times better then the current marketing chief, if not then you'll get your money back =P

    Sometimes I just refuse to believe that they would do these things out of stupidity, but more like sophisticated milking of a dying cow. But who knows... b:shutup

    Or they need to pull out quick cash to because todays failing banking system doesn't allow to finance anything, and naturally pick an old game to do so. Your logic is way to axed on PWI being PWE's only activity.

    There is a reason why the company is named after the game (it's because it's their best game). Hence, it also means it is the game the brings in the most revenue (refer to their 2009 income statement). If PWI fails, they lose their biggest cash cow and rely on...what? Forsaken World? Neverwinter? None of these games have even reached as much attention PWI has in the past years....

    So, once they post the winners, doesn't that violate some privacy act? It basically opens up those players to tell everyone they spend money on this game. With that being said I am not participating in this event because of this. If they just emailed/mailed the winners instead of announcing them or saying how many from each server won it would be more reasonable. This way they still stay anonymous...
