Another mass-dc on HT!

Just throwing that out there. Tons of people on world chat claiming to have dc'd, including myself. Nothing new here...

    I wasn't online yesterday, but it should be noted that this exact same issue came about at 10:45PM -6GMT (Central) on Monday night for Heaven's Tear... And no GM spoke about the issue then, so I'd assume the same for this issue.

    Management around here is pretty non-existent. The best that you can hope for is a mod (player) or an actual player to respond, because the chance of staff even bothering to log on the forums and make a post saying that they acknowledge that this happened is slim to none.

    If it isn't everyone DCing, chances are it's not a server problem, it's a major Internet node on the way to the servers having a problem, and outside of PWE's control.

    It's the majority. West arch was almost completely empty when I relogged. It could be a regional router issue, yes. The chances of each DC being a regional router issue in the last 6 months is pretty slim. I trust regional routers over PWI's server infrastructure and ISP, because PWE doesn't support this title much anymore, and don't bother to follow up with mass dcing.

    So, yes - it could be a regional router. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to know for sure, and PWE won't take action to investigate the issue, either. Each time we get a mass dc, everyone is generally quick to blame a regional router issue. In reality, it's probably equally on both parties - regional routers and/or PWE's servers and/or PWE's ISP.

    I've noticed a lot of issues over the past few weeks with the regional hub in San Jose, which is practically next-door to PWE and the servers. Wouldn't surprise me if that was the issue, and there really isn't anything PWE can do about it.

    People who cry about dc's are.
    1.botters(the ones with 4+ alts running at one time)
    2.People with catshops up (4+ alts on at one time around the map/towns)

    Conclusion:
    Why does this mean this?Its because they have to set everything up again because the rest of the game is afking 98% of the time.

    I've been here since 2011 and this is in fact the densest thing I have ever seen here and I have seen a lot of ****.
