constant disconnection

I was advised to put my game play problem in this topical area by PWI customer support so this is what i'm doing.

Ever since last update, my game keeps dropping every 10-15 minutes. It will go for an hour, then suddenly, every 10-15 minutes, the game will drop for no reason & i get disconnected and have to relog again. That could go on for about 3-4 hours, then be ok for an hour then go back to 10-15 minutes.

I have turned off my pc, router for half hour & rebooted both. It seems to have slowed it but i still get disconnected every hour or so.

I'm on Broadband ( English ) and my connection is constant.

Also there is another issue which i am dealing with customer support about as because of the constant disconnection, i have lost items somehow & can't work out why

    Customer support is likely being stupid then.

    Moving this to tech support and advising you to start by reading the major sticky within it.

    Only doing what Customer support advised. The bug seems to be fixed now anyway, but the other issue still hasn't been resolved but that's a customer support issue

    Yeah. They've been pretty... horrible overall lately.

    Which really sucks for issues where the only legitimate answer is, "Contact customer support".

    It's infuriating because you try your very best to explain the situation and your treated like a child sometimes & they don't actually listen to what your trying to explain sadly b:surrender

    This was my responce when i asked them what was going on about the loss of my missing items....

    so who is exactly dealing with my issue?

    Is it tech support or customer service as it seems like all 'Customer support' are trying to do is pass the buck, so to speak.

    Can't display ticket contents directly like that, though summarizing them is a nice way we use to get around that rule.


    And yeah, this is an example of what I mean about them being horrible lately. Your item missing is something they're supposed to deal with. Yet lately all they've been doing is trying to pass issues off to everyone else instead of doing what they should. It's frustrating for everyone involved because things like items missing are legitimately to be handled by the ticket staff... and yet nowadays instead of doing that they're redirecting everyone to the forums or making up stupid excuses for why they can't do something they're supposed to be doing.

    I was always under the impression that 'Customer Support' was there to SUPPORT THE CUSTOMER? Not just pass the problem on in hope it just goes away so to save them dealing with the problem b:sad
