Demon Dragon's Breath Bug

Demon Dragon's Breath does not heal. AT ALL!
I have a level 101,100,100 - Demon Wizard.
Of all my leveling and playing this game, from delta, FC, PV, Warsong, Lunar; I have not yet seen it heal at all. I've consistently tried over and over again to watch for the heal to proc and it never ever has happened. I will try and see if I can record a video of it and post it on YouTube and share the link here.


I've posted about this before in General Discussion and it might have been moved under Class Discussion. I've talked about this to other people, and some agree and other say it works for them.
Some just say the text is wrong, which I believe is also true; it used to say something about when it hits a mob.

It says: Demon Version has a 25% chance every 3 seconds to restore 500 health.
Correct ? : Demon version has 25% chance "on hit" to restore 500 health over 3 seconds

Whether it is on contact of a mob, or just a chance every 3 seconds, I have not seen it heal me once. This really needs to be inspected and fixed immediately. b:cry b:surrender

    I just tested this with my Demon 'Dragon's Breath' and the heal does proc a lump sum heal of 500 (+500 at once) on a chance hit. If it heals more than that, from multiple targets, isn't within my test atm since I only tried for healing.

    Generally when you test for this type of thing, you avoid instances where you'd need potions, charm ticks, a cleric using BB, etc.. The heal from Demon DB doesn't show up as a heal above your head (like Blood Paint). It acts as a regular healing showing no value except in your hp bar.

    You already responded to this before. And I've been continuously checking this... since your response. I even mentioned it to others and had similar responses. Its not working.

    My test method was quite simple.

    1. Beat my alt to near death in a duel.
    2. Set up my alt's demon DB on mobs north of Lost (easy 1 shots).
    3. Watch as I gain some hp from some occasional hits with the DB.

    Note: My alt was completely gearless for the test (no armour or weapon) and lacked all buffs. There was no chance that an infinite proc could happen either.

    I'd say that given the mobs don't fight back, and I gained a hp value that's comparable to the skill description, the skill does heal the mentioned 500hp. I tested this about 10+ times and I always got the same result of gained hp on a chance hit.

    I think that you're either getting hit for more than the skill heals or your luck is just horrible.. but the heal is working as described in the skill tooltip.

    It does work but if ur wiz has low phy def your not really gonna notice it or even think it wont cause ur taking too much DD. my wifes wiz in delta can not use pots or cleric heals and u can watch how she heals herself ..kinda like Bp with a low weapon.

    It works fine on my wiz. The thing is it doesn't proc often and the healing is negligible when assaulted by multiple mobs.

    What others are saying. It's been working fine for me but it's a very negligible heal. Especially with today's gear and damage output. You really won't notice it in any situation where anyone/thing else is healing you OR when in a situation where you're taking a decent bit of damage. Pretty much the only time you'll really see it is when testing to make sure it's there.

    Yep, this is my misunderstanding. I just tested it in a duel vs 1 person and had it heal me a few times, but it was definitely not 25% of the time, or I was just have pretty bad luck.

    This heal, is it for each mob it hits? Or just once? If my DB is hitting 10 mobs, and it succeed 3 times, will I get healed 1500? or 500?

    Given that you do agree that this heal is negligible with all the gear upgrades and all, can the heal get a possible buff? 500 hp is pretty damn weak. b:surrender

    alot wizz skill effect became negligible with current gear/stat etc
    (sage nuke effects, our only nonself buff, ulti dmg with water and earth skill,udine, Arcane Defense, sand miasma,sage Wellspring Quaff, Elemental Invocation etc)

    so not wonder if demon dragon breath effect became nearly not visible aswell with good gear
