Npc's in instances spawn in on players

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the npc that spawns after you kill the first boss in fcc (also the one one after boss in heads room). If you are standing in the coordinates that the npc spawns you will be stuck and need to port out or relog. There are several npcs that spawn in after certain events in an instance and if you are standing on their coords you are stuck. Please add to the list of npcs b:kiss

    Uh, I think the NPC that spawns after killing Genesiac Blink in Lunar trapped me once or twice.

    That one trapped my barb once too. I had to town portal out.

    I can confirm that this also happens when events like Tiger event, etc have the NPC spawn while you're waiting for it around the area. It can spawn on your character, and you get stuck.

    Also happens in warsong with the npc to spawn the adv bosses

    This also happens in AEU in the Locen path, after digging the broken mirror to set up the matrix. I've gotten stuck in the mirror NPC that spawns several times.

    Hi gang,
    I'll forward the NPCs spawning issue to the devs. I'm afraid that the game currently doesn't have a way for spawning NPCs to intelligently push you aside.

    Could you noclip the npc when they spawn because that would fix it. Its not like haveing the npc as solid serves a perpes.

    Perhaps. I can't say if it's possible or not but I'll bring it up.

    Hope there is a fix for this. Something simple would be to just move the location the npc spawns. As in the first boss in FC just have the NPC spawn back a little (there is room, same for the 2nd boss)

    It is possible to fix this - simply change the "NPC" into an object with no collision mesh but still selectable.

    Instances where this has happened for me:
    - Lunar Glade (Kill boss, attendant spawns for the vile version - stuck inside)
    - Warsong City (Kill boss, attendant spawns for the vile version - stuck inside)
    - Endless Universe (when a player turns in a crystal at one of the steeple chase mirrors, it despawns the old mirror and spawns in the new one - at a slightly different location)

    Especially EU is a problem, since if someone gets stuck, there is no way for that person to get out except by teleport. Means the steeple chase will fail if that happens.

    I've had this happen in EU wayyy too often. Nowadays I warn people to stay away from the mirrors.
