someone just linked a demon/sage event card ticket and tried to sell it on the Morai server. any idea how it works, if it works and if its within the rules?

noob, can only run, spawnkiller, only white vodoo, only plays for kd,
never kills anyone, only gear, no skill, no life, cash only, eats dogfood to cash more, lives at moms,

    The event gold ticket doesnt have "Unable to be traded" attribute so being able to sell it should be legit. Dunno if its within the rules though. I personally wonder where that player got those event gold tickets, yesterday (or so) he had a dozen plus in his shop....

    It is against the rules to sell them.
    It is also against the rules to discuss here how it works.
    Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.

    yes but if he really had 12 of them, that means he must have bought items worth of 300 gold recently, which a) not too many people can do and b) is close to impossible on a server that has nobody cashing in anymore. so there is either a glitch to get those cards (code abuse?) or idk..

    It's an abuse that was discussed on these forums not that long ago. Against the rules, and can file a ticket against them.

    Probably abused the Arc code before they fixed it, and just left most of it in the mailbox to sell over time.

    Wasn't there a few people who accidentally NPC'ed their fashion weapon on each server that got it replaced with non-timed versions by accident? I remember that being a thing but not sure if it's true or not. :P I don't think they still do it judging by the lack of them. I just remember reading it on the forums and I haven't really seen one since then. :P

    Anyway, no hints of how to do this is allowed. :P So please don't keep posting it so we don't have to close this thread too. :P

    And yes this is a bannable offense, so screenshot it and submit a ticket.

    there was a bug report (recently fixed) where gear didn't show if they were bound or unbound when sold in catshops. Could be that weapon fashion has the same problem, but with timers? (I don't know much about fashionstuff so could very well be I'm wrong..only reason I have 2 fashion sets is due to weddingb:thanks)

    This is a grotesque fail. I wouldn't even call this a "bug" or a "glitch" just a grotesque fail. b:laugh

    Its too easy to fix that, just go to the database and set the damn ticket to NO-trade, since they're too lazy to actually fixing the thing itself.

    I suggest you to ASK for an item editor directly from China so you don't go depending on them for everything, that's ridiculous really.

    The Arc Maintenance just fixed the exploit


    Thank god for that. Gold was being quickly inflated because of it and abusers were cheating their way to farm coins.b:thanks

    Have a sin use shadow sight on the shop and let him check the item, that also helped with the bound/unbound problem of shops when they would not show the will bind on equip text on gears.

    If it's permanent then the only way I could think of is by getting it from a GM.

    WTF? Nothing has been fixed. Using the old VIP Crown and Event Gold codes that have been given out the last few months with newly created accounts still grants infinite Event cards and Charms.

    The items themself needs to be fixed. Whats weired is that the items can be sold although they got "cannot be traded" listed in their attributes. mhm.

    and reporting it like were were told by Kossy does no good. Ive reported some myself, got the usual "we will investigate" and 2 weeks later, the same people are still sitting around with shops set up. I have since quit playing cause if the staff doesnt care about the game, why should I want to play. ijs.

    No they don't?
    They have the attribute "Cannot be Sold", meaning to npc's. They could still be traded and that wasn't in the attributes. You should read the items instead of listening what people are screaming on worldchat b:chuckle

    Look at the item for the VIP Crown IN their cats. It clearly states "cannot be traded".

    Oh so players that change an item from untradable to tradable isn't hacking? It's not the first time it have been done, some people even did it on the TW rewards (weapons).

    You clearly don't know anything about the specifics of this abuse =/ players aren't changing the item's attributes at all by 'hacking' (my guess is you mean hacking as in changing the game-files on your computer to your benefit, but this isn't that), it's an abuse entirely done with ingame mechanics we can't discuss here to keep the item tradable. The attribute "Cannot be Traded" only appears when the items are on display in a catshop, as my screenshot above shows. "Cannot be Sold" is not the same as "Cannot be Traded", for repeating for clarification.

    I know what she's referring to (snip), but to the best of my knowledge there hasn't been anything exploitable in that manner in ages, as you said. Even then, it's still not "hacking," but I digress.

    Well, abusing a glitch is still playing by the rules in some way. If we fall down to this kind of thought we would end up banning lots of people who used cancel channeling and fc 2nd boss glitch, among "fake Lunar G16" and nirvana caster talimans.

    The best thing to do is to patch this thing asap and for good.

    Oh and take advantage of the time, disable "Suggest Guardian Scroll" feature too, ty.
