damage nerf to classes

this is getting to be ridiculous, how are some us able to do adequite dmg to mobs when our dmg is being nerfed severely. Im still experiencing 1-4k normal hits and 6-9k crits when i should be doing 9-13k normals and bout 10-16k crits before tues maint went down. Can i get a mod or gm to reply on this since ik its not just me having this issue.

    no one has this same problem as you

    you followed only 1 of the numerous submission guidelines

    zero screenshots/proof/actual details

    your math for normal/crits doesnt even add up and greatly calls into question your sobriety

    this is either really bad trolling (and deserves a ban) or just severe incompetence in which case maybe its time to logoff and go back to school

    ... did your Jones Blessing expire or something maybe? Changed equipment so that your main weapon, while still equipped, is shown as red because you are not meeting the prereq stats for it? Main weapon at 0 durability?

    i always keep a jones/Omalleys on me week to week, 2nd, my main weapon is a nirv s3 +8 refined with an incomparable garnet with a dmg of 19.7k buffed. 3rd my stats were met ages ago. im not 101 Ra 1 for nothing. 4th i always keep my gear repaired almost after everything i do.

    Ps: this could be a small incident where its not affecting many but some. Plus its been confirmed by 2-3 others in my faction that there is a dmg nerf to the psy, seeker, archer, and cleric.

    A nerf does not work that way. It would affect everyone, just "some".

    I'm not blaming anything else. Nerfs do not work the way you seem to think.

    And your "confirmations" are rather silly considering we've already had a psy cleric and seeker say they haven't had any change and I can aassure none of the ten classes I play have had their damage change in the slightest. Maybe you should do some more fact checking yourself before assuming damage has been nerfed. You're not exactly the first one to claim this with no real evidence and those claims in the past always wound up having no real merit.

    Actually considering the nature of this claim and the lack of evidence shown towards it (as well as the fact only the OP is actually claiming this is the truth) I'll be moving this to General until some concrete evidence can be provided.

    I know for a fact that there is a glitch that occurs sometimes after server maintenance where your gear stats aren't calculated properly. I always notice it on my barb because either his damage will be weak, or his HP will suck.

    Recently even had it happen to an archer friend who thought they had "nerfed" a few skills. The following procedure resolved it.

    Take off ALL of your gear, log out completely. Log back in, re-equip gear. Notice definite change.

    I haven't seen it as often over the past year, but it does still happen sometimes.

    I can confirm as a BM that there isn't any kind of damage nerf or whatever, and OP is a **** moron and should just stop before it gets worse for him.

    Remove weapon and arrows and reequip them.

    What maybe cause a huge difference in damage:

    - Your jones blessing is not there.
    - You was using Dragotena/Faction Arrows and maybe changed to Wolfen Fang Arrows.
    - You unequipped or replaced a ring accidentally.
    - You unequipped Destroyer AND/OR Battle war avatar(s).
    - You're unaware Lv [?] Mobs take 50% less damage from players.
    - You unequipped 1 or more parts of a conjunct Set, like, removing 2 or 3 parts R9R3 causes you to lose 100 dexterity and at least 30 attack levels. (Belt is part of the set)
    - You maybe ruined your weapon Refine (or bad rolled R9R3 wepon from 62 att levels to 51 for example).

    I don't know what else or just lazy to think of, but you're clearly the only one experiencing this.

    It would be weird if it was only for very few people. You're talking about 2-3 people in your faction but none of my guildmates or friends seem to have notice anything and for something like that we should see a lot of posts within the forum which is not the case.

    Now this is quite simple : post a screenshot of you hittings mobs (with damage logs displayed) + screenshot of your stats in your profile. Then I'm sure someone will do the maths to check that.

    on my barb im getting extreme less damage on in pve and pvp so I agree where this post is coming from I went from 1-2 shotting mobs in fc to 4-5 shoting mobs that's a huge nurf

    Basically do what sylv said. It occasionally happens where the equips do not register and your damage does get nerfed.

    i was in a full rb run when this went on and i was watchin my dmg log record the dmg as i was doing it and some of the dmg was being recorded as 1-3k with 6-9k crits when i normally do 9-14k normal hits with bout 10/11-16k crits so came here to see if something was screwy.

    So thanks to sylen's advice, it did correct itself after doing it.

    Quoted Mosz as a reminder to Van for next time: bring evidence when you start a thread and not just "I tested this and my brother, cousin and dog all have the same problem, so it's you, not me".
    Saves everyone a headache and this issue could've been resolved in a proper fashion, without you having the need to insult everyone who asked for some important data you failed to give.
