Best way to get my level 79 barb skills?

Another option is to look in the AH for the books; I have on occasion seen lvl 79 books for less than the cost of making them.

My personal preference would be to run the instances to get as many pages as possible, while keeping an eye on the AH for cheap pages. Can't say as I've ever seen the ink for sale anywhere other than the forges.

@18 tokens to make 5 pages, it very much depends on gold/page/token prices on your server

I would suggest checking AH as well for these books, sometimes you can find them for around 1m or under, which is how much the 10 Inks would cost you anyway since there is no way of farming those for free.

You can also make them for free in Morai (95+), but it takes a long time to get the required prestige to make these books. They are account-stashable but not tradable, so people that have many characters on the same account (like me) can easily join one of each order and get the prestige needed for these books while farming for the Morai skill books at the same time. This way you can obtain all 79 and 100 for each of your characters before they've even hit the required level/culti to use them.

Another way to get the skill for free, or at least have a shot at getting it for free, is the Pestle of Reincarnation quest. However, I'm not 100% sure it's possible to complete at the moment, I haven't tried myself and there's been a lot of threads on the forum at least stating there would be something wrong with it. What it would do though, is give you a Sage and Demon Bible which randomly gives you one of the 79 or 100 skills for your class. Obviously it's better to get a 100 skill since they're way more expensive to make, but it's a possibility at least. If it still works.

There is an auctioneer in every major city (3 In Arch, 1 in Lost-Ether-Plume-Tellus-Tide etc). You can use the Co-ordinate assistant in game to find them or copy-paste from here.

4 options:
- Farm 20 Apocalypse pages in Eden or Brimstone Pit. Standard mobs drop them there, but they are rather rare, and those mobs aren't pushovers... Buy ink from a merchant and craft the book. Cost: 500K for ink.

- Look for the Apoc pages in a catshop (usually a few in City of 1000 Streams will carry them). Buy 20, reasonable price is 75K-85K per page. Buy ink from any "merchant" NPC (the one in OHT has the ink, for convenience). Total price per book: ~2 mil

- Check which order in Morai has the vacuity skills for your character. Quest for the order until you have 7000 reputation. Do the Jintao daily 3 times to get 3 letters (you can start doing this quest as soon as you have 5K order rep), buy 3 pages from the your Morai advanced order guy, then craft the vacuity skillbook for free. The resulting book is untradeable but is account stashable. Cost: Lots of time to get to 7000 reputation, minimum lvl 95 to get into Morai. 0 coins.

- Buy the book in the AH, commission or a catshop directly. Cost: Whatever players ask for it, usually 3 to 5 mil.

OFC, there is also farming the Apoch pages from the Lost Chests in the OHTs. IF you can find them every 3 hours like I do :P

The search function has zero intelligence to recognise typos. It is even case senstitive. You do however not have to enter the complete word. So if you are looking for shapeshift intensity "shapeshifting intensity" will yield no results, but "Shapeshift" will, even "ting Int" would find what you are searching for.

The prices of skill books vary enormously. From almost zero to dozens of millions. This value depends a little bit on the quality of the skill itself (firestorm and garote are barb skills that noone uses so people dont give any priority to making them demon/sage.) It also depends a little bit on the how much the demon/sage version improves the skill. It depends most of all on the rarity of the book/how its made. Demon shapeshift intensity for example is the only skill missing on me, even though it is a very mediocre demon skill, it is a pretty expensive one for its rarity.

Chech this page to see how your skills are made and thus how rare they are. The info about mob drops is outdated though. The books drop from different mobs now. Not sure about the details. I think FB99 may simply be replaced with FSP.

If you make skills in the "OBP" category for example, you will get 1 random skill book out of that set. It costs you about 2million coin to do this. So that sets the average value of those books to 2m. Of course good ones will be worth more, bad ones will be worth less. Same idea for the other options. 30 Pof = 3million, 50 mystical pages = 11million. (might be slightly different on your server)

The skills you find in the AH are generally a bit overpriced. So it is advisable to make a bunch of books yourself, then sell your double ones in AH and buy the missing ones. Before buying and selling skills, keep an eye on the AH for a while to see what others are asking. Usually the lowest price is the right one, also if you intent to sell. The vast majority of items in the AH are overpriced and will never sell for the asked price. So understand that only the bottom of the price range you see is realistic.

demon tiger form is a special case iirc. You have a quest to do for getting the new panda form (which is exactly the same is tiger form but with a different look.) It is an improvement over the old verion, so you do want to do this quest at some point even if you prefer being a tiger instead of panda. I think you get demon tiger form there so you shouldnt need to buy it.

Your biggest priorities as a demon barb should imo be:
Sunder
Beast kings inspiration
Bestial onslaught
Bestial rage
Flesh ream *
Devour *

*will probably not seem very important to seasoned demon barbs since they will easilly hold agro without those skills anyway, maybe even rarely use them as they hold agro by DDing in human form. While as they grow stronger they might be much more interested in pvp skills like mighty swing and the chi from slam, but for a starting not yet OP barb i think it is good to get these early so that you can do your job in squad as well as possible.

I considered putting str of titans in the list yes. Mostly because it helps your whole squad. The difference for yourself alone is not so big. Maybe you do 1% more dmg with the demon version or so.

The 1 minute 5% crit bonus is a 2 edged sword though. It blocks other crit bonusses from being applied. Some much more important ones like the 35/40% crit bonus of onslaught or the 100% crit of sunder. This also goes for other squad members whom may actually try to use combos including crit bonusses that you now screwed up for the coming minute.
So when you have demon str of titans, you always need to be aware when to cast it and when not. I got used to it, but when i first gotten this skill (and still had the habit of casting it all the time for no much reason) i regretted learning it.
