Whats funny is Sweetiebot says all the servers are up and running! But we are definitely still down.

Not seeing any abnormal issues issues here.

I'm assuming people that people who aren't staffed with PWE are getting annoyed at the fact that in the last two weeks, there have been three "mass-dc's", where no staff commented. You personally are the individual that stated threads related to ARC were being commented on now that you are the CM, but a two second glance at the Technical Support section and last 3 pages of General Discussion will prove was an incorrect statement.

While I completely agree that the OP said something against the rules, you have to understand that due to the lack of... Well, the non-existent presence through most of each and every week of any staff from PWE on the forums to discuss major issues with players... Something tells me that this isn't making people jump for joy and praise your company for being active with the people who pay for each of your paychecks.

Right, and I think it's logical for the players of this game to expect the company hosting the game to properly respond to inquiries on the forums and send issues to the developer's across seas. This stuff just isn't happening. PWE has all but given up, as most staff have been removed from working on this title (even though it's the flag-ship game named after the company), and moved to newer titles. It's just so dumb, and I don't understand why they believe that the newer titles deserve all the staff, while the older ones get one or two.

Nothing is getting done about player inquiries on the forums, and tickets are closed, deleted, or auto-responded most of the time. What's the point of having the forums and ticket system up, then? The lack of communication from people like the CM and various other GMs around the forums is even further disheartening. They can't even respond to most threads about the forced DRM ARC having issues, or servers crashing, or player's issues with various things.

b:surrender I got booted twice last night from {HT~server} (within 20 minutes of each other, starting about 1-hour before the server reset time) and they weren't just normal (dsc/boots) either (1-time actually completely crashed my computer BIG Time!!? So bad it was, that I had to run not only a 'Defrag' but a complete 'Scandisk' on my comp aswell) and I had just done a full maintenance on my comp just 2-days prior...b:surrender

Archo has had 3 Mass DCs past 2 days, its getting kinda ridiculous at how often those happen. I am always on with 2 clients. First time main client survived DC, shop didnt. 2nd time shop survived, main didnt. 3rd time around both DC`d and it took minute or two before I could log either back on as I couldnt contact server. Some did survive the 3rd DC too but lagged like hell I was told. The issue is clearly at PWIs or their ISPs end, I dont know, would be too big of a coincidence for it to be players at this point.

Edit: Last DC was bout 10-15mins ago.

If this is their solution to limit botting, I`m not impressed, when I woke up again I was DC`ed, seriously people stop giving them your money!

thx for this Sylen. Do you know the address or ip for the Morai server too?

I'd like to find out why I often have heavy lags in the evening even if ping is ok

A traceroute doesn't reveal packet loss.

The Morai server isn't directly pingable, but the node in front of it (prolly a loadbalancer or firewall) is. To test connectivity to Morai, ping 95.172.88.90
Server address itself is pwieu3.en.perfectworld.eu 95.172.91.10

When experiencing connection issues, try the following command in the (windows) console:
ping -n 100 95.172.88.90

It'll send 100 packets to the edge node. If there's more then a few percent packet loss, or high latency, then there's network issues which PWI can't do much about. If not, then the server ops need to check out the server itself.

That sounds like a very plausible cause to me. At least considering the fact that I can't get arc to load any thing at all, except for when it does randomly decide to load the page for PWI.
