Dual Clienting Now Live!

You may have noticed that Arc recently updated tonight (4/24/14). With that update, came the ability to multi-client!

If you did not get the update, never fear. Simply log out of Arc, and log back in. You will get a quick update, and the ability to multi-client (along with improved chat features/notifications).

How do I multi-client?

Simple, launch your game from within Arc and pick your character/server. Open up Arc again (no need to log in to another Arc account) and launch PWI once more. When the game launches, you can log into another account and play. (As per the rules, only 2 accounts can be logged in at a time)

There you go, that's all there is to it.

    Are you saying that the rule of max 2 accounts log at the same time is no longer applicable?

    Sorry, updated that to read better. The rule still applies, 2 accounts at one time.

    OMG i logged in to the game after 2 weeks...and guess what?? still same...boring nothing to do :) oh well going back to play facebook games :) Still good job from PWE :)

    Does this mean that each Arc process (I counted three of them but maybe i didn't notice all of them) will be running twice ?

    You're still only running one version of Arc, so no it will only be the 3 that have always ran.

    Sounds good for pwi but dose this work across games eg. Playing PW on one account and JD on another

    Yes ik JD not fully integrated into arc yet so i can still launch it normal way but as I understand it that won't be case for long typing on phone otherwise test it myself

    b:angry ok arc is supposed to be fixed i can log in 2 accounts. But after 5 minutes being logged in i DC. i spend the best part of 2 hours trying to work it out. it does come back to pwi. archosaur and sanctury appear offline. i finaly log in last again for a little while dc so i kept going all evening i had enough and logged off. My isp is working fine as i can access the net no problem. so what causes this problem?

    I dunno if it's you, or pwi, but my friend who dual logs through arc has constant dc problems on the 2nd client, while I who dual log the old fashioned way rarely dc at all unless my net goes wonky or the server itself is having lag issues of epic proportions.

    I have 2 toons on the same email I made before I knew anything about duel clienting. Is there anyway (with out 2 computers) I can have both logged on?

    No, you can't, you need 2 different accounts. Make another one to be able to log both at the same time. You can't pass you toon from one account to another though, have to create new.

    So only 2 account. That is good so no more spam catshop everywhere but at the same time is bad because few good catshop are using more then 2 client.

    PWI need some few adjustment since I been playing this game for a while now and it is getting dull. Need some new stuff added. Something fun. Some kind of epic awesome event. Not just ign event. What about outside event? Outside the game world event. I don't know. Something cool that will bring in more players. So far, I haven't see any promo code anywhere. Wish there are more redeem code out there since I miss them all.

    Even with two computers, you can't log onto the same account on the same server with two clients at the same time.

    Well, on my home I do play pwi with my mom, each of us by with 2-3 toons logged in, it's ok? b:laugh

    You, Yumi, are allowed to have 2 accounts logged in max. Your limit has nothing to do with your moms and vice versa. It's just everyone is allowed to have 2 max online at a time. Your mom is a different person, so she is able to have her own 2 accounts. Everyone is a separate customer, and are allowed to have their own 2 accounts logged in at the same time. The limit isn't per household but per person, but you aren't supposed to share the accounts, technically. So everyone in households account should be separate.

    I recently began playing again after a long break and am just finding out about Arc. I created a new account but never got an e-mail notification. I would like to be able to quit my game and log into another account. I do that when I play but with Arc I can not log back into this new account without launching a new game and launcher.

    How can I find my info so that I can go from this account and back without shutting down the game completly?

    Here's what PWE NEEDS to do...make it so there is NO work around and the ONLY way to multi client or play the game at ALL is to use Arc....set it up so that anyone NOT running Arc can NOT enter the game at all.....then they will have better knowledge of people who multi log MANY accounts at one time taking advantage of the system with all their multiple cat shops and target them for the BANHAMMER....GG.

    How are we supposed to dual client now? The 2nd client just hangs for me.
    It was fine before maint tonight.

    While I share your frustration at such abuse of the system I don't see how much can be done about it. Any attempt to enforce multi-client limiting would undoubtedly be met with the response: "I was only using 2 clients, and so was my mom, my brother, my cat, and the postman, and you can't prove otherwise so please un-ban me forthwith".
