Well are you guys for real? Most bust their butts in this game trying to get R9 and have half decent gear,(because if you want to tw on this server you have to have uber gear to get into a tw faction) farm arses off to refine and shard that gear only to go upgrade that gear to find out they need 800-1000 chienkun stones if they want to keep their refine and shards they worked so hard to get...Seriously? The cost to keep is..... If you cant afford them you upgrade losing them and having to refine and shard all over!! Give me a break....No wonder so many people are going to Epic or other private servers, at least there everyone has the same gear...No one is overly outgeared!!! My god are you people that money hungry? Do you want to see more and more people leaving because they just cant compete in this game? Then comes NW, it costs you charms and apoth just to do then you need SOW'S and you charge us 1.4million to make 1!! Let alone 99 million on top of that to upgrade a piece of equipment!! So you need 77 million just for the SOW'S...My god give us a break!!!.....And the cost of a +10 orb??? WTF

    I think you need G16 gear all +5 in order to get into a good TW faction. And I never needed or used charms at all in nation wars so I don't know what you are going on about. If you want everything just handed to you without any effort on your part then go ahead and play on a private server. Things aren't quite as bad here as you say though.

    The only advice I can give is:

    Learn to accept high prices. It's not going to get any cheaper. Gear up- as you can and don't get discouraged. Just like IRL, you can do what you believe you can. Just do it and don't think about the costs.

    The only TW faction I've been in on my server was well before I had R9. But I didn't like the atmosphere(they never talked. Probably used vent or TS which I don't wont to use).
    I know some folks that got in good ones for simply knowing people in it.

    You can't really assume the criteria for a TW faction's requirements, but yes it is best that you take care of your gear issues before considering joining one.

    Oh yes about the cost of upgrading and wanting to keep shards and refine. This is why it has been impossible to transfer my R8 swords +12 to my R9 +10.

    I think its stupid that people spend so much on the gems to weapons for so little extra attack power.My 20+ vit ring should cost around 100+ mill right b:chuckle
