So i was playing earlier today with no problem and no forced arc login. I log off for 30min and try to get back in, now it forces me to open arc. Once arc is open i cannot play the game it wants to download the game. I already have the game. Why do i have to spend 2 hours downloading again to keep playing when i already have it?

You just need to read and follow the directions for adding the existing game client to Arc that have been posted multiple times in a multitude of threads so it "sees" it.

After you've done that, it won't prompt you to download it.

As easy as that sounds... I have done a search in the pwi forum for "adding client to arc" and that search came up with nothing. Any idea on the actual post i can look at for this? I have moved all my pw files from my desktop into the arc folder. I can fin them and the launcher when i look in the "add games" part of arc. When i get the launcher on the top left of the screen with "play" beside it, it does nothing but take me to the main page of arc.

The solution was to run the regrepair.zip. http://support.arcgames.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4275/~/%28arc%29-registry-repair-tool
found here, then restart my computer. Now it is fine.

Okies, for some reason I can't even make a new thread but my question applies to this one anyway so...

Where can I find a working link to download the PWI client?

Before any nubs respond with stupid replies... No, I don't mean Arc. I mean the actual game itself and no, downloading it through Arc does not work.

It's probably a full-client version behind, but not off by far. In my Arc analasys thread I put a link to the last version I had before they encrypted the files. It uses the same secure link Arc does.

Just keep in mind that it's an 8GB compressed client and that you are unable to pause it and there's no MD5 checking like you get with Arc.

If you're having trouble downloading it via Arc, there's not much of a chance of it working outside of Arc.

Um... I think I asked the wrong question maybies O.o

I no longer have the PWI "game" on my computer. So, as far as I can tell I need to download "the game" itself again but I can't find a working link anywhere. I checked your thread, SylenThunder, but couldn't find a link to clicky-clicky.

I have tried the repair stuffs with Arc already, several times. When I click play Arc minimizes and that's the end of it. I officially have no idea what I can do to be able to play short of maybies downloading "the game" again.

There's the link. It's from a version in the middle of December so you'll need to catch up with a few patches.

Sounds like you may have some registry corruption though. Might try removing Arc, rebooting, then completely deleting the Arc folder and cleaning up any remnants in your profile folders. Then re-installing Arc and continuing from there.
