Bot/Gold Spammer

Can a GM PLEASE do something about this bot/gold spammer that has been spamming world chat >.>

It's sitting in City Of Plume and I don't think it's moved for at least week. Yes I've reported it, as I'm sure many other people have, but clearly it hasn't made any difference. I've also sent tickets in the past about this kind of issue, but nothing is done.

GM's need to be in-game a bit more often to see what's going on <.<

    I sent a ticket about the gold site spammer on Raging Tide, and my response was they would look into it.

    The bot has not been banned, I sent that report the second it made the first world chat. It's been [3] days and counting.

    Oh right, I should have mentioned the server :p

    Yea, I'm talking about the one on Raging Tide as well. There were a couple of others before this one, haven't seen those around anymore. But this one....>.>

    "They'll look into it" ..sigh. I won't hold my breath for anything being done anytime soon. I've reported it a few times on each of my characters, and I've blocked it on most, but I know it's still there lol!

    Simple fix, BL.

    Unfortunately, there are far too many butthurt players out there that have their BL full.

    BL works, but it's temporary and isolated to the character. A GM terminating the spamming would be far more effective and safer to the playerbase.

    this is going on in DreamWeaver as well, nothing anyone can do, i've personaly sent in several tickets from several toons, nothing will be done.

    As soon as one goes down another will take its place anyway, more than likely, so any action will provide temporary relief until it all starts again...

    2 first character which the botter used r banned i think
    the 3rd one he made now is spamming WC pretty long now

    I BL people for stupidity, spamming, and if their harassment is boring.

    There's gold spammers on Harshlands too.
    Sometimes snarky, but will always bake you cupcakes.

    Then that is how PWE must deal with this; it does not matter if the bots will come back, they must take action.

    I've played so many games where all you see in world chat is bots spamming fake sites. It was so annoying, and clearly the Gm's of those game didn't care at all, so I promptly uninstalled.

    When I came to PWI, I found there was little, if any, of that going on so I was pretty relieved. And if a spammer popped up, it was taken care of pretty quickly.

    But now, PWI doesn't seem to care one bit. Sure BL is fine, but get rid of them altogether instead. If another comes back, then continue to ban the accounts/IP's.

    I'm not sure what GM's do when they come in-game, but when one happens to log on and the spammer is doing it's thing, it doesn't make a difference. The next day the same spammer is at it again.

    wasnt one of the gold spammers from a few years ago a gm at the time or was it a mod. I can't remember off hand

    With the constant bot spitting out gold ads for a scam site, and many of us putting it on BL, now do we get the privilege of buying a blacklist extension stone?
    If you bite some one, they get mad and smack you.
    But if you lick them, you still get the flavor.
    And they think you're weird.

    saw one of these gold spammers yesterday, bl'd it. unless pwi/e wants these things to really get out of hand; someone needs to poke a GM with a very sharp stick and get them to log a toon in and start blocking those i/p's.

    have seen these spammers before, not a good thing when they show up.

    Hello ,

    Actually Those coins sellers on wc are REALLY selling Coins .
    My friend bought from them coins and paid $ on their site.
    Some old sites were fake, but this is REAL and affecting GOLD price in Game .Where RT gold buying at 2.9-3mil and selling at 3.2-3.4mil in AH .

    This is not legal and it also affect a big amount of players .and Even affects PWI then self to get more profit .

    Also I'd like to add that there might be some ppl or PWI that are even playing with Gold prices , raising it either by bidding higher than highest buy price 1 gold a time or by other ways .

    This shortening is not accepted. and is hurting the Game .

    Even more now with ARC system and ppl saying we can't open more than 1 account .
    If we couldn't find a solution ... pwi was killing our money this way , cause if few ppl will set shops the prices are going to be CRAZY . like tokens 2x 3x times the normal price or other items .

    Why can't u care more for us PWI ... if u make us mad u will lose us .simple as that .
