In-Game Event 3/31-4/3 [Done!]

All Done! Let me know what you think and what you would like to see for upcoming events!

Starting Monday, 3/31 up until Thursday 4/3, I will be holding a simple "Kill the GM" event.

3/31

Sanctuary: 2PM PDT - 3PM PDT
Heavens Tear: 3PM PDT - 4PM PDT

4/1

Lost City: 2PM PDT - 3PM PDT
Archosaur: 3PM PDT - 4PM PDT

4/2

Dreamweaver: 5PM EST - 6PM EST (2pm-3pm my time)
Harshlands: 8PM EST - 9PM EST (5pm-6pm my time)

4/3

Raging Tide: 5PM EST - 6PM EST (2pm-3pm my time)

I will announce via a system message where I am at, so you'll have to come find me. The object will be to kill me before I get to my destination (will inform you when I'm in-game where that is at)

As you can see, I have allotted 1 hour to each server, however we will go until the event completion. If you're on the next server to have the event that day, do not fret if I am late. Barring a server crash or outage like last week, I will be there.

Also as you can see, the time's differ and that's because I had to fit this in with meetings and other things I had to get done unfortunately :(

That said, the prize for killing me before getting to my destination is the Auspicious Contest event. I will activate the event and you will have the chance to kill the phoenix and get it's loot!

    I remember way back when Mike used to do this in SP all the time. It wasn't so much of an event, and he'd pop in randomly and have us try to kill him on a fairly regular basis. Was great fun.b:victory

    so yeah... r ppl gana have to b in pk mode to kill the gm? cuz if so that gana leave alot of ppl out of it cuz there are alot of ppl will just worry about killing other players getting free kills which takes away from the event its self. please respond to me.

    seen this event a hundred times in private servers start out as kill the gm ends up as pk gank fest and the gm is forgotten

    Someone Posted a really good question. PK or None PK? Would be understandable if it had to be PK mode in order to kill you. But would also cause problems on Non-PK servers. For those who see no point in going into PK mode for personal reasons.

    Can't speak for most people but some would rather lets this be a chance to AoE Zerk/Crit kill everyone, using you as the certain point of the AoE.

    Now that I think about it tho. Would be funny to see a whole area of dead people on the ground tho. Still. An answer to the PK/Non PK mode would be cool.
    (Alt would be to hold crtl or something to hit you.)
    Logic = Against ToS. It's the answer to all "Wtf..." Moments during normal gameplay with other players.

    Unfortunately the only way it can work is to flag for pvp. That said, even if you choose not to flag, but your server still gets me I will start the Auspicious event so your whole server can join in on taking down the Phoenix.

    As to where Morai is on this list, since it is an EU server on a different timezone, I can't unfortunately hold the event there. That said, the EU CM should be doing some events similar to mine to make up for that.

    That boss definitely has loot, it's just more evenly distributed instead of a free-for-all by rewarding everyone who participates (and who doesn't take too long to dig) with a random prize. Among the possible rewards is 5 star orbs, 8 star orbs, incomparable shards, and fashion. It's also the only way to get absence notes. Most people will just get stuff like teleport things, hypers, etc though.

    I have to say that it was actually kind of anti-climatic :( I hope you guys visit the servers again some time, it'd be fun if you spawn some weird bosses or randomly teleport players to weird places and such.

    Nevertheless, I'm glad to see you guys visiting the servers!
