stealing? scamming?

what would happen in the case of stealing an item some one let you borrow and u ran off with it?

    First, this isn't a bug so I'm moving this from the quality corner. If the person put in a ticket, you could get banned. If you've done this, just give the item back as that would look better on your part. If it happened to you, submit a ticket on the issue. Be sure to include lots of information, like dates/times/screenshots.

    you mean if its not a cash shopper they could get banned... I have sent in a ticket for getting scammed and letting someone barrow a weapon and they sold it instead of giving it back and was told it was my own fault.. Man how this game has gone down hill. I was **** and items stolen as well has tons of other people in this game and nothing was ever done about it.

    People are scum in general and for cashers not getting banned, it`s totally true, submitted many tickets of them violating the TOS, guess what? They still play, money makes you immune to be penalized apparently.

    Let me see if I understand correctly...

    Someone FREELY gave an item to another player with the understanding that it would be returned. And, when its not lets open a ticket and call that stealing. Good luck with that one.

    Yes, open a ticket. I'm sure the folks at support need a good joke to talk about around the water cooler Monday morning. While your at it, opened tickets for those players that were robbed of coins for FC heads.

    pfft, open a ticket.

    To the OP, nothing will happen. It will come down to a he said, she said and PWE/PWI will not intervene. Now if this person **** your account to took items that's something different but naiveté and ignorance are not solid grounds for opening a ticket.

    You're kinda wasting everyone's time with that..
    Pwi isn't doing anything about lent items: When you give someone your stuff in trust, and they **** you over: that's your fault. Doesn't matter if it's your friend of 2 days or your own mother.
    It has nothing to do with pwi-logics, it's a welcome to the real world, as the same goes there. deal with it and learn from your mistakes. PWI does nothing when you "willingly" gave someone your stuff and they don't return it.

    Before anyone tries to convince "oh you gotta send a ticket!": Morai server has had lots of scams lately, including giving/borrowing items and then never returning. There is a g15 barb running around with his scammed Dominance tome. I find it hard to believe that that is how pwi "bans" players.

    1. Never give items to someone to "try." Chances are you won't get it back. There are too many juvenile idiots that play MMOs.

    2. You willingly let some stranger borrow your equipment. PWI won't get involved.

    3. If you took the item, give it back. Don't be an a$$.

    In most cases GMs wont help but Venus is right here

    I remember,year ago person on Dreamweaver lost g15 +12 daggers (2garnet gems + interval)by borrowing them to a "friend"

    few weeks later GMs made exacly same daggers and gave back to the person,while stolen daggers got resold few times and ended at some noob

    Customer service is random and in 99% cases wont do anything....but if you are lucky enough and can convince they might help you

    I have had friends get their things back by submitting a ticket as well. They did know the exact date/time that it was lent, as well as they had a screenshot proving that it was a loan and not a gift that they just wanted back now. A lot of people don't have proof of that sort of thing, but some do, and I have seen people get banned for it. I also seen this one guy whine about it world chat that he had given the item back so he shouldn't have gotten a 3 day vacation and blah blah blah. At any rate, you have absolutely nothing to lose by trying. Support is very inconsistent with this type of thing but I mean submitting a ticket only takes like 5 minutes of your time. It's not the big deal people make it out to be, even if it doesn't work out. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

    tonight is nw, can i borrow someone's r9rrr+12 please i swear i'll give it back LOL, pwi can't do sht if you willingly lend an item out, trust me, i was a nice guy once and it cost me full fc gear, the old school fc gear which you can't make anymore. did pwi do anything? no, the person said I "gave it to them" and then the gm, wont name, said he/she couldn't do anything because it's my word vs theirs......so venus i don't know what bath salts you been banging down but in my experience pwi won't do sh*t
