Ok so i'm not sure if this is the right place for this... BUT i thought i'd try anyway
ok, so recently when i play PWI for an extended period of time, my GPU Drivers will stop responding and cause the screen to go blank for several moments before recovering itself
now before anyone asks, NO other game causes this.. JUST PWI
and trust me i have a fair collection of PC games lol
so i ask, does/has anyone else have/had this issue?
it's driving me nuts. so far i've been lucky and not been doing anything like FW, FC, etc
it does this randomly, BUT seems to be increasing in frequency but still on a random basis
so if anyone has any suggestions, ideas, or even better a solution? lol

Initial thought is that the GPU is overheating.
The fact that it doesn't happen with other games would make sense if you're on a laptop, but not as much on a desktop.
Again, I have to say, I'm going to need more information. I'm more than happy to help, but I don't know what you think I'm going to do with such a limited amount of data.
I will need a copy of the output from a dxdiag.txt file, and a link to a published Speccy report taken while you are having the issues.

I'm having a similar problem.
I used to play with both ubuntu and windows 7. Using wine/ubuntu for pve (I use mainly linux) and windows 7 only for mass pvp since performance was better.
After New Horizons update (august 2013 i think to remember) my monitor become black after few seconds of gameplay and my only option is to restart my pc.
The back light of the monitor is still on but all the pixels are black.
This happen with both windows 7 and ubuntu using nvidia drivers. I tried to change driver version but no success, always black screen after few seconds of gameplay after char log in.
Now I can play only with ubuntu using noveau drivers (open source) with very bad performance, (TW at 1 fps). Also noveau is not the best for a lot of many other purposes, so i would like to switch back to proprietary drivers.

From the dxdiag, the only thing that stands out is the Bandi video decoder. I have run into issues with it before on some systems.I'm having a similar problem.
I used to play with both ubuntu and windows 7. Using wine/ubuntu for pve (I use mainly linux) and windows 7 only for mass pvp since performance was better.
After New Horizons update (august 2013 i think to remember) my monitor become black after few seconds of gameplay and my only option is to restart my pc.
The back light of the monitor is still on but all the pixels are black.
This happen with both windows 7 and ubuntu using nvidia drivers. I tried to change driver version but no success, always black screen after few seconds of gameplay after char log in.
Now I can play only with ubuntu using noveau drivers (open source) with very bad performance, (TW at 1 fps). Also noveau is not the best for a lot of many other purposes, so i would like to switch back to proprietary drivers.

For the Speccy....
Your system is running pretty hot there. You will definitely want to look into ways to cool it down. Your average temprature is about 10-15 degrees Celcius more than you want it to be, and at the time of the Speccy, it was about 20 degrees over. You get it much higher, and your system will shut itself down. (Assuming that components like your GPU don't fry first.)
You have Microsoft Security Essentials. You should really look into getting some real AV software. Either way, make certain that the client folders are excluded from all scans, then verify the files at least three times.
Not related, but I've seen issues with the Akamai Network interface causing problems with high latency, or sometimes even the inability to connect to the game servers. Not sure why it happens yet, but disabling the adapter can help if you experience those issues.
I've also seen some issues with that version driver package. A new one was just released. Download it, run it as administrator, choose Advanced/Custom install, and un-check the 3D Vision drivers, the Nvidia Audio driver, and choose the box for "Perform a clean install"
With an older laptop like that, check that the vents are free of dust and that the fan is spinning properly. That will fix a lot of heat issues. (Don't use a vacuum to clean the vents, you'll blow out the bearings on the fan by spinning it too fast.)
After all is said and done, Shut it down, pull all power sources out of the device (that includes the network cable and the battery), and hold the power button down for a minute. Then plug it all back in, power it up, wait 5 minutes after you get to your desktop for background services to finish startup procedures, and give it a try.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I'm at 39% useage for my GPU right now, but we're talking Win7 with full effects, 2 clients with both windows active, 7 browser windows, and a couple of other programs running. Heck, it's only running at about 15Watts peak right now of it's 150Watt max.
CPU on the other hand, is at about 57% overall, and RAM is sitting at about 70% of my 6GB total.
If I flip the client windows out-of-focus, then CPU drops significantly to about 7%, RAM doesn't change a lot (no surprise there), and the GPU will drop to 31%.
Yeah, I'm not seeing the client using a whole lotta extra GPU there. Heck a bit of flash on a website will use more than that. WIth the clients out of the way, guildlaunch.com with the ads blocked takes it to 40% right away. CPU is about 12% there.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
i too have been having a similar problem when playing pw but what happens to me is i get random restarts only when gaming i am using speed fan to monitor my temps and gpu has gotten well over 70C with game on lowest graphics settings and idle while surfing net is 30-40.
also my fans sometimes get really loud and rattly like then suddenly get all quiet with a low deep humming noise. took it to the shop and they could not reproduce the random restarts and they heard no such noise from it or so they say. i should also mention my graphics card is nvidia geforce gt 440 the machine is a off the shelf 1tera hd 8gig ram lenovo desktop. i use to b able to leave my pc on for weeks with the game still running without it restarting.0
