The state of MY game.

I know this is a topic that has been posted before and i know many people are going to make it perfectly clear to me, but I just wanted to post it anyway. This post is basically about what Perfect World is for me. First let me introduce myself I'm Shawn and I'm a Jamaican player, I am still in college and money or time isn't a resource I am blessed with. Perfect World was the first game of this sort i played; it opened my eyes to online gaming and how fun it was. I have been playing for years by the way. i didn't make closed beta or open beta but i started at this games early stage. I was here before Auto-Path and all the other fancy addons. In the past this game was all i cared about i would rush home from school (high school at the time; left high school in the 2008-2009 period) just to play. The map was crowded being told to kill 80+ mobs wasn't a problem because there was always someone around to either squad with or talk to. Chat wasn't a bunch of people with teles to waste; it was relevant. Gold was like 100k. The 7Million( highest i have ever had) which i accumulate now and is still poor meant being rich back then. To me the game was balanced, gather dq items was fun and rewarding, now you have this crappy points system and we all know that you guys don't give away good items; i wonder if i will ever have enough points for that horse btw. Let me stop dwelling on the past.
One of the most annoying thing for me is killing 80+ mobs alone especially magic mobs that i cant aoe. Why am i alone on the map, this is why all the other players are old players who are tired of the lame story-telling and have leaned towards FCC and hyper to lvl. Face it after doing all those quest to lvl your main its hard to do them again on an Alt. FCC and Hyp killed questing and for poorer players Hypers arent easy to always buy. Mines just ran out and with only 1.3m i would drain myself buying more now. Can you believe i was so broke i had to sell my TT80 set for a little change, want to know why because no one give a F about TT and molds these days, all these OP gears you guys are throwing is strong and shiny. Atleast make TT shiny without people having to imbue gems( i like shiny). I cant afford my TT90 but if i ever do i want to glow. Fun and Joke aside this game is despressing for anyone who dont have all the time to farm and the money to buy gold. You guys started off with a great product, i used to tell all my friends at school about it, but you got greedy and sucked whatever longevity this game had out it. This game used to be fun full of life people running around to that sweet and calm music, for some reason the music seems more annoying now and no one is running around and WC is full of idiots. Please dont tell me about making money through farming TT and Flying instead of Tele. No one does TT and solo tt dont give **** worth selling and i tried flying from 1000 streams to dreamweaver port on the freelvl 30 flyer, lets leave it at that. Have a wonderful day players.     Good read, indeed and I agree with the OP, it is painful to see what PWI has become, but it happens to all online games sooner or later, sadly.

    I use to be broke just like you barely able to afford mp, hp pots & skills, but when I got into merching and properly managed my coins I had an easier time economically. The quests were extremely boring and repetitive killing the mobs over and over, it almost felt like a chore more than a game. I'm glad fc and hypers were implemented into this game it made lvling a lot more easier and pleasant.

    OP here. Thanx Darkskies for paragraphing. Kevvy maybe you can give me a few tips, because nothing i try works and for a level 90 bm, running around with lvl 70 gears isn't too impressive. It didn't show on my post, so ill let it be known I'm on the Sanctuary Server.

    If you are pure pve player, you could get Morai gears, they are rather OP for pve, esp the weapon and not that expensive compared to other endgame gear, you can always farm herbs and sell them, people always need apos for TW and pvp in general, even for pve.

    When I started this game 4 years ago, I was into herb business, I din`t farm since I was just a small fish, but I merched with them, since you are lvl 90 you can farm the top tier herbs/ mats also, as I noticed they are quite expensive due to people auto botting and not farming anything at all.

    you & the other ~60% of folks who 'don't do forums'
    maybe if more ppl voiced their thoughts i'd still be playing this game.

    To the OP selling gear is always a bad move it kinda reminds me of a junkie that wants that next hit of crack...never do that but try to do other stuff for profit to build your toon up.For me when i started going on 6 years ago my main thing to do was farm herb or crafting materials for a few hours after some questing or a daily.i either sold in store or sold to the highest store that was buying.I continue to do this toward what i needed next...why rush?You make your own goals and get your stuff on your own time.
    You can even learn to merch in game items like herb/crafting materials/etc.The way i store coin is i only keep in my inventory 10-20% of what i make and the rest go into the bank.I do have it better now since i strived with lots of alts to make my bh coin/fsp and junk sales for my store.

    Make a alt store and throw popular/semi popular stuff in it and have patience,since i had a store i have never been broke in years.

    Especially with games that have a power creep as severe as PWI does.

    @mogwai i guess you're right i haven't been contributing to forum at all and for that i apologize, however as you said my complain isnt much different from those before. To the others who replied thank you and ill take your advise and see if i can make any progress. the following changes took place since my post. One of my fac members gave me the TT90 heavy plate and greaves i am very thankful to her and i have gone demon so new world(hell) for me to explore, im not expecting it to do much but at least something interesting.     OP...you are right...and what is ever worse is when you finally get near the end gear-wise you will realize there is no class balance. 1 is immortal [barbs] 2 are demi-gods [sin/archer] and 1 is a beyond overpowered in comparison to all the others...it's super-power [psy]. seekers can be a crack grinder too in the right hands but vulnerability to cc snatches truly immortality from their grasp and makes them playable in a world of mortals at least.
