    Doesn't have to mean anything. More populated, more people to complain for mergers. Doesn't mean at all any one of them has more common sense than a deserted server unfortunately.

    One person doesn't speak for the whole server.. I wouldn't even want to think of what the bot sites would look like after a server merge! :c

    This is precisely why they will not merge servers.....unless they remove that stupid bot system....which would be nice.

    I have enough already with my server lag.
    There is already many r9rr..and cant do anything at all to them in NW

    so...hell NO

    b:lipcurl__I don't really know about that yet, because if Wanmei used their brains like I think they may have actually done in the designing of the 'Reawakening system' our RA characters may have now been augmented with newly identifiable and clearly 'server unique' identifiable coding to them to now differentiate them from other server characters with the same name (after all wasn't it hinted at already that if the (Multi-server NW option) was ever brought into the game for us, that it was only going to be for 'RA characters' and no one else??) It could very well be that the 'RA system' may be the first stage of a set of new character recoding ideas that very well may be in the works for fixing the Database problem...b:thanks

    server merges like in china would prbly re awake the whole game parts like active TWs with more than 3 guilds per server, and yes HT is biggest one with most R9S3 and most active guilds with most ppl on for NW etc .. but still, note.. merging a server Really means merging only active players... theres total few thousands or hundreds per server anyway..

    No thanks, I dont think servers are dead or anything.
    A lot of people claim the need of merging servers for tw or nw but the fact is that not all player do those events, also not all players are rrr9+12 JOSD, so some people may think is kind of pointless to go there to be a one shot b:laugh

    Maybe it would be nice to see cross server NW, but I doubt they do that.

    The servers are nowhere near as active as they were even two years ago and there's nowhere near enough new players coming in to sustain and justify the current number of servers.

    I'm with Mono on this.
    PWI's "official" servers are in worser conditions than even private ones. They really need to merge the servers to make them (atleast look to be) more active.

    I dont know about some of you but i do get tired of Wcin for long periods of time trying to get squads for things like UCH and FSP...... A server merge would be amazing and those of you who dont do things like TW/NW would not be effected anyways the only things you would be effected by is that there would be more gold available since more Cash shoppers on same server as well as more pve guilds to help with things that pvp ppl are not interested in.

    More cash shoppers in one place, gold supply goes up, gold price goes down, everyone is happy with a server merge. I don't get these people complaining about "only people who care about tw and NW ask for server merges". If you don't care, don't cry.

    DW is active enough and don't need merge. There is no problem finding squads for any high lvl instance (maybe for lower one but even server merge wont help with that).

    Lag is killing us anyway. I just imagine west with all those merged cat-shops. NO ty.

    Do something to bring new players into the game and advertise it more instead of server merge.

    I cant log this for reasons below.

    Unless PWE where to show server numbers we truly have no idea of what or how many players are active at the max or even min time. As many of you know I play on HT my self and tho you dont see many people around i would not forget the MAP/Maps are a lot Bigger then they used to be when we started this game. Not to say also we have something like 8 more instances than when his game first hit.

    I dont think the idea of a server merge is out of the question of the future but I will also say that im sure PWE are watching server numbers. Like in the case of the EU server they made the decision to do the merge. With that in mind I think the trust should be put into PWE to make this happen when it needs to ( Something im sure many hope will be a while )

    Ill be doing a bit of a Wright up on this in a few weeks.

    Well if pwi sometimes cant hold 1 server by it self- and it has ton of lag spikes and stuff
    so 2 servers together! dont even wannt think abou the lag!

    The TW it self been hella laggy already 1-2 month or more, it never been like that before!

    I would actually agree with a server merge, there will be a problem with cats causing to much lag but at least there would be more populated. There are problems also and here is my suggestion! I suggest making a whole new server. (BUT this wont HELP the merge!) Calm down let me finish explaining the reason why with the problems of the merge.

    PvP and PvE:
    A new server will actually be two new servers. One for PvP and the other for PvE. This will not cause problems with either PvP or PvE servers.

    Territories:
    A new server merge will allow the map territories to be completely wiped so factions will have a fair advantage at getting a piece of the map.

    Factions Names:
    So here might be a problem. If two clan have the same name then what? Well all the clans' name would be converted to <Previous Server Name> + <Faction ID>. EG: DW1 (Using DW for dreamweaver just incase the string amount of faction id and the server name makes the string name too long. EG Dreamweaver134524542) (Faction id is stored in PWIs database and cannot be seen by players). Once the leader has entered the new server they will have a mail to change the faction name to what they would like.
    Something to add to the information of the faction is there starting home: EG Original server so people will know where they came from. (I will currently set up a suggestion forum with images).

    Double Name:
    Upon loading in the new screen there will be a single server (the new server name). Upon the transfer all characters name will become (Like the Faction Name) <Server Name> + <Character ID>. EG DW1. Faction Names and Character Name are in a different database so this will not cause problems. When you click on your new character with its weird name it will prompt you to change it just like you are making a new toon. This means faster you get on more likely you will get your name.

    Cat Shop Lag:
    So this one is a little more difficult because I am not sure how PWI codes cats. However, here is my idea to fix cat shop mega lag (So archo doesnt get massively screwed with cats in one area). When a player hits a the button to convert into a CS (Cat Shop). It will FIRST scan the area, a radius of 25m (can be less or more depending on pwi), if there are too many CS then it will let the player know that they cannot place a CS here. Depending on the devs of pwi. They can make a button that will point the player for the best spot to place their CS.

    Double Name and Faction Name Pro:
    Let's say your name/faction name was taken and now you have to make up a name you havent really wanted? Faster you log in you can change it. This will also help weed out players that do not play anymore. Meaning all those names that are just sitting in the database and forgotten will now be available to the new players and the ones that still play.


    **Notes: If i used clan or guild instead of faction then i mean faction. Second, any spelling errors? my bad... Third, if you think of any more problems let me know. I'll see if i can think of a way to fix them.
