Scheduled Forum Maintenance (Tuesday, March 18, 2014)-Complete

Hi all,

We will be conducting scheduled maintenance on the forums tomorrow Tuesday, March 18th, starting at 2PM PDT. Maintenance is expected to last for 4 hours and access to the forums will be unavailable during this time.

This maintenance is backend only and does not include any player-facing or functionality changes.

    It'd be nice if some maintenance was done to the game for a change. Like fixing the 2nd reborn quest chain.

    There's an issue on the forum at the moment and it make some people unable to use their chars, they cannot post, see the forum or send pm from the chars that are affected. For people that have more than one char that's fine cause they can use an other one, but people with only one char cannot access the forum anymore from their account.

    Usually people can select the char they want to post from, but recently some chars show the name with '' at the start and end of the name and when we select the char it give an error and we cannot use it.

    Here's a SS of my char selection and you can see that my mystic name (MissCherie) show with '' on it ('' are not and was never allowed to use in the name creation of the character), the '' wasn't there before.

    When I click to select my mystic and try to come back on the forum it give me an error, here's the SS of the error:

    In my case only my mystic is affected and a 1-2 months ago I did pmed you from that char to get the avatar fixed (it doesn't show my correct lvl), you told me to don't have the tools/powers for fixing avatars and now I cannot use that char anymore on the forum.

    So it would be nice if that issue could be fixed and if there was someone that can fix our avatars when needed.

    Does this somehow affect the old site and the fuctionality of DQ points over there...?

    ... and fix the problem for Veno summoning an AIR pet while in the AIR. It sucks having to land to bring out or change an AIR pet.

    How many Maints have gone by with this basic game playing problem still hasn't been fixed?

    Actually it's now 2 chars I can't use on the forum, 1 on each of my account, so yea it would be nice to get an answer that someone know about that issue and is working on it.

    Hey sparkie, a couple times when trying to reach the forums page, I hit some database exceptions. Do you guys log exceptions that get hit? Will this patch be fixing things like this?
