2 vs 2 at west gate - QQme domination

Hello dear RT forum readers,

Yesterday, we had something really fun happening. Many people were watching as QQme's name shined on the PVP arena of Raging tides.

To sum it up, I just logged and Mav PMed me to go PK vs LiveWire, LadyBlondeh(Lamebiscuit now) and HOTSAMA. Elveva was with Mav in squad. Sadly, HOTSAMA left and we won vs them 3 vs 2. Then the fun began: They have taunted us for 2 vs 2, as Elveva had to do PV, it was me and Mav left VS LiveWire and LameBiscuit.

We were ready for fun. In truth, we had the upper hand due to the fact that having a cleric in 2 vs 2 PVP just makes things much much easier. The long CC from the cleric most of the times decides the battle. Our downfall was my lack of experience in PVP. I have not PKed that much in the last year and I was very rusty and lacked hundreds of hours of training compared with LiveWire, LadyBlondeh and Mrs_Mav.

We started nicely with a win but we have focused the wrong people, well mainly I focused LiveWire which buffed is very very tanky. Both of them have the ability to Zerk crit and in a combo, to oneshot me. Mav seems to be much more tankier than I am. Another flaw of mine was the fact I have forgotted to take off my physical reduction charms when I went autocultivating and the mobs ate them all. I had no 50% physical defense charms for this battle.
We started with a couple of kills but the tankiness of LiveWire prelonged many fights. Luckily, Mav urged me to take down LameBiscuit who in comparison with his team mate is squishier. We won mainly because we managed to take down the BM most of the times. LiveWire played well, using his combo/debuff with the "maybe purge" genie skill to make sure he can take one out immediatly and killed me with it one. In such fights the buffs are very valuable and purge is most likely followed by a quick death. LadyBlondeh lacked cleric buffs and his survivability was highly reduced because he used many times Magic Marrow and Mav could hit hard with plume shot.
As you will be able to observe from the video I will post later in the evening, the BMs can use a skill that is not affected by Antistun, by Purify spell and that keeps you with your head down for 6 seconds. They are the masters of CC and if they zerk crit into an HF combo, they can oneshot even a barb. I get hit by regular skills from 3k to 4k, zerk crits that can go to 12k to 16k per hit. Those hits can reach 24k to 32k each and can be amplified more by Extreme poison and tangling mire. This is why Zerk/crit classes do so much damage to targets that have debuffs on.
Anyhow, I could have played much better, kited more, chained my spells much more efficient. Only now, when I play more PKing, I realize how little I really know about how to counter all classes. I still drop like a fly against sins and purge usually kills me so I will have a great chalenge in the future to learn better how to PK. Overall, we managed to win even thought they have pinned me down a few times.
