Post pics here when you die while auto-cultivating with no damage log

This happened often in the start for me. My sin used to die, with no damage log. It stopped for the past two weeks, but it has started happening again. My BM is mostly immune to it, only happened 2 times on bm. Sin has had this happen the 8th time now.

The mobs are all physical. They do not have special powers, skills, buffs, debuffs. Goothe are the mobs in question. Range is set that the sin does not wander off.

Terrain is a possible culprit, that the sin gets stuck while auto cultivating, it can not move, does not tele back, and it gets hit by the mobs, and for some reason while stuck on terrain, damage is not taken.

The terrain issue was tested, the damage log did appear on bm, so not sure that is the cause.

Running out of bp might be an option, but that will not exclude the damage appearing on the damage log. There is an auto pot set at 80%, that can deal with 2~3 mobs at the same time, indefinitely.

Weapon was not broken, not even close to it.

If anyone has any idea, why we die while auto cultivating, with no damage log, and how to fix the issue, let me know. If you also have experienced a similar situation, post your screen shots, so we can start seeing similarities if any.

Is it pvp server? Sometimes you die without dmg log if someone deals over hp damage in less than a second. Name of a player that PKed you should be displayed nevertheless.

^. Another reason it may not have been displayed is if you are attacked from stealth. Attacks that bring the sin/archer out of stealth to damage you do not appear on your damage log. Which is silly, but only damage they deal out of stealth shows up

Prolly this is the problem. I didn't pay attention to it, though payed attention that such attacks usually go from sins.

Goothes... Aren't those ranged DoT damagedealers? I'm not sure if damage from DoT effects shows in the damage log, but a bot stalling out while being DoT spammed will die in a hurry.

Simple measure to prevent it: Set your support combo to a short interval.

Ea's hitting QS or TA from Stealth usually show only one dmg on the log, the second insta-hit glitched thing we have. The first strike from stealth won't show, funny to PK Insu botters with spark + TM + EP + BOA/Stun without them noticing or knowing who killed them b:thanks

When I rebirthed my archer and doing BQ90+ I have often seen a barb botting at the goothes. I killed the spiders needed for the base quest, and sometimes the spiders respawned near him and started do their poison dot at him. I dont know if this could be the same thing for you or what spot of goothes you actually bot at.

I think damage from a Mystic's Absorb Soul also doesn't show in the damage log (at least it doesn't show for me on the damage log as damage dealt). Probably only applies to the non-sage, non-demon version that bypasses the attack and defense levels... But I doubt an un-amplified absorb would deal enough damage to a player to kill it.

He`s on a PVE server and only a fool would enter pk mode on a PVE server while botting, So far I haven`t died but I do teleport a lot and it`s like in an instant, you start killing, lower the game or open Mozilla or w/e, then look @ pwi and you are in town, getting the bot to work smooth is too hard, at this point it would be wiser to just use a 3rd party bot, since the built in 1 is an unfinished work but good luck getting a bot that doesn't contain any keyloggers or similar ****.

I don't think there are crowds of pkers on pve servers who camp bots day and night waiting around one that is not in safe mode b:chuckle I'd say main danger comes from other players botting who come to check their char, accidentally, see a white named player botting and get main char to kill (in case they do it with alt). And it wouldn't happen 24/7. I personally didn't kill a single bot since this feature came out. Though I can go at favourite bot spots any time and search there. Because... what's the point? I won't guard them for hours and they will come back to botting as soon as their owners find out char is dead.

Well at this point pkers are the least of worries unless they camp a specific area I guess, as in my previous post, problems like those will still deprave you from any botting benefits.

i think its most likely due to a few things

1- range casters kill the mobs faster than your sin can get to it
2- your sin still aggros the mobs (because it travels more unlike casters) while trying to get to said mob, item pick up
3- you can aggro a good 5-6 there cause those guys can link and clump
(because culti tends to go for same mob, there are times when 1 character aggros everything there, while others stay aggro free)
4- sin cant take that much dmg, BP wont work if your not attacking (see #2)
5- the dmg log is there. Its just that its not a spike dmg or anything, but rather a horde of goothes on you at once. (for example imagine 10 goothes hitting 500dmg on you each at once)

1) DoT damage does not show up in the damage log,
2) if someone is also grinding those mobs youre sin is going to spend a lot of time standing there trying to pick up stuff while mobs are stacking DoTs.

Use autopot / charm.

1 - I have seen that often, especially when you are around b:cry.

2 - That happens as well, but sin only tries to pick each drop 4 times. When ever someone is agroed and it can not pick drops, that is 2~3 hits, sin can take about 30 hits, and auto pot about 50 hits before dying from one mob.

4 - I tested this, sin can survive while having agroed 6 mobs for about 2 minutes with just auto pot and base hp without attacking. These were all normal mobs. If there is increased attack, sac strike, this time goes down.

5 - When the above happens, when mobs are hitting on me, i see a damage log of hits coming in, and me hitting as well. In the picture, when i checked the damage log with damage dealt, damage taken, bp returns, for the past 10 mobs, my hp should have be full.

Use autopot / charm.

My sin is only surrounded by goothe, there are no magic mobs near by or dot mobs, that is why i picked that spot. I do have auto pot, and use a charm occasionaly. The problem persists, my sin is dead with no charm ticks, and auto pot is barely used. I have enabled the auto pot. I learnt that lesson long time ago, always check if auto pot is working.

Posted a topic about it earlier as well, when auto pot failed to use the pots while it was active. Which may be the case, but very unlikely. My auto pot fails when i have been logged in for a long time, with no logging off,shut down. These kind of deaths have occured at the start of relogging, or other times.

thers some other things i forgot to mention

a- everyones favorite lag f:shy lags auto pot too.

b- Although its rare, Mystery of Antiquity aoe hits like a **** and he roams around sometimes within range if your start area is closer to the ground. Not sure if the aoe shows on log.

c- even more rare is Blizzard King whos near the plateau mountains, it has to be a lure but he is within range. (altho in this case the log is there so its not a match with your scenario)

actually that happened to my sin the other day. No damage log. All the mobs within his auto cultivation are physical so yeah I was a little surprised myself.

Any worldboss or miniboss spawns that occur in that area maybe?
Any event spawns that might be happening? Those will flatten a sin in a hurry since they have little to no endurance, and yours is probably focused for physical defense, not elemental.

Same happens to me on my sins ALOT. My theory is its just a glitchy ****y auto-bot program that hates sins (I mean - is jealous of our awesomeness) as much as the rest of PWI b:victory

I farm in your neighbourhood. You are more towards the village, i am more towards the water. Those effigy king things, do not kill me either, even though they have a long range attack, i die far away from them, and there is no damage from them.

Forgot to mention that as well, since goothe are spread over a large area. Where i do my business, there are no world bosses, mini bosses, or wraith attacks. That area only has goothe.

I believe it's one of many bugs bot has.
Shouldn't be an auto-recovery, sins can bot perfectly fine without it.

well theres only one other thing i can think of and its that my character looked at yours and you laid down and died
