the problem description is really short: It stops
i use macros for dding and buffing, all the parameters in bot window meet the conditions
though at some point my cleric just stops though the bot is still runing
eventually character dies
a month ago it took few hours till it happened, now it takes like 3 min to stop
could i get any advices what should i do to avoid that bug?

The problem lies somewhere between buffing and picking up item/coins. My macro is demon hp/mp buff (mp regen keeps me from having to pot mp), cyclone, plume, cyclone, ih. If you get inc life or mag def mob heals you. I haven't had the problem since I moved the buff to step 1. Before if I 1 shot a mob and ended with a buff skill, it just stopped. Also if you spark right after mob dies you will stop. Seems to "lose" the item pick up.0 -
i use different macros for buffing since the bot supports it
and in the dd macro there's no buff skills0 -
It's not a fix, but as a workaround you can set your "support" combo to a really short interval. On my BM I've got Li's Technique and Celestial Eruption on a 15 second countdown. Once the support combo triggers it will reset any stuck pickup command or other skill it's stuck on.
Just make sure not to use any instant-type skills in your support combo. Spark eruption, despite the text, is NOT instant typed (it's actually got a fairly long casting time, just no channel time from the look of it).0 -
thanks for advice, i'll try it out0

i set magic shell with 20 sec interval, seems like it really helps0

I didn't think to get a screen shot or anything, but I just checked on my botting toon to find her standing there all derpily having her charm ticked by a mob.
Just standing there getting hit over the head by an antitan. Thunk, thunk, thunk...

put a lot of skills
avoid using self targeted skills (including spark)
dont put autoattack
that's it.
Also
The bot will only skip 1 skill that is "yet unusable' so if you put 2 skills in a sequence and in a given moment both of them are unusable for chi/mp OR cooldown reasons, the macro will stop.[S.E.V.C.H.E.N.K.O]

first here's some things to check b4 u bot which I figure u do but this is for any noob botter.
1. make sure u have a weapon equipped and all ur gear is repaired
2. make sure the mobs u're at respawn reasonably fast or if they don't respawn fast make sure ur area is set at a vry wide radius. Also make sure the mobs your at u can atk within 60 sec (usually not a prob unless mobs are slow to respawn). if u're not in combat for 60 sec ur bot town teles.
3. don't use spark or anything that keeps ur toon from moving for a prolonged amount of time. I've had issues with that stopping my bots.
well for a cleric u want to run for a long time..here's what i do. I have it set where my toon does plume shot, mp self buff (spirit's gift for sage ..it regains 900 mp), cyclone, mp self buff, plume shot, mp self buff (keeps going). for the assist I have it set w/ a macro too and its every 30 sec. I use elven boon the mp self buff. I do this just incase something actually has damaged my toon lol. (u could use a self heal like wellspring then mp self buff but I like to use atks so I use elven boon even though it ends up costing me mp) I have the range set anywhere between 65-85 depending where I bot..and I nvr have a prob...I actually time out my 10 hour timer b4 my botting run even breaks anything.0 -

The spirits gift will support both plume and cyclone before needing to do spirits again. I have changed my macro to demon hp/mp triple spark cyclone, plume, cyclone plume. I put the IH in the assisting set on every 150 seconds. Any skill in the assisting will pull you out of a stopped botting period. I use absolutely no pots. Range is set at 45. If you set it too wide you end up following someone else's drops.0 -
Did furter research on the bot system
For your attack macro put like this:
Self buffs/spark - repeat icon - attack skills
do not place instant-cast skills they tend to really glitch the thing.[S.E.V.C.H.E.N.K.O]

nice thread, i guess ill have to try all suggestions and test whats real and not
any got more info ?
I used to auto in tiger with only standard attack on macro and spark on support every 10s for healing. That worked perfectly, but slow killing.
Now i changed to standing with onslaught - standard attack - slam (not often cast as they are alrdy dead but very usefull when people pull the mindless bandits on me)
And my buffs on support every 25mins.
This causes him to stop regularly
Please keep more (more detailed) info commingEverything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.0 -
Can anyone tell me how long it takes when it "stops" before it teleports to town ?
When i go AFK for dinner or something and i get back, all the time when i open the client i see him standing there doing nothing. This is so often the case and never do i find him in town. Is it possible, that minimizing/maximising the client could have an influence ?Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.0 -
i only response to this is haha your bot isn't running right you see i dont play this game to run a bot the macro's in the game are nice but as stated they don't work all the time i personnaly find flying up to a place where my quest is an seeing someone running a bot program rather annoying. Reasons being now i have to do my quest competing with an auto program which now is a legal thing to do on game onlt options being drag a boss on the botter. I would like to see PWI come up with a skill that allows every person the ability to shut if off. Ball if a anti-bot buff. Sounds like a bad idea. Think about it. Go online an look at all the bot programs most run an auto bot system some of these sites may offer a program that shuts a bot off without the knowledge of the person playing the game bot but the person will find out when he/she comes back an finds there char dead, charm gone an inventory empty.
My advice is find the skills that work for your char watch your char an be ware of others, for such as in the past as bots showed up more an more in game now more an more programs are being made to stop a botter0 -
Yes I studied the thing
It seems to randomly stop, having or not the catch items on.
I have tried to set up skills in a sequence so 2 of them wouldn't be in cooldown in a sequence, they appear to be used randomly, the bot also seems to stop fighting a mob by half HP to fight another mob (randomly).
The auto cultivation process 'dead' state SEEMS to have a workaround if you set auxiliary skill to 10s and put whatever there, therefore a longlasting buff with too much mp consumption will result in a high expense of MP in that way. (Example sage/demon Golden Bell/Blood Paint)
All the single times my character died while auto-cultivating, we could clearly see 'mob deals, mob deals, mob deals, mob deals, ...." clearly stating the character wasn't counter attacking at all. (even with take items set to none). With a plat charm or auto-recovery my character could just waste those for hours without being killed.
Hmm, what else...
Instant skills seem to make the bot crash even easier."What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets!" - Dracula0 -

instead of IH try Elven Boom... dd's and also heals you. so at all times you have heals and dont need to mess up your macro with stopping for heal0 -
Iron Heart is a better choice for characters who don't have high refines yet - it gets you a significant hitpoint recovery for 15 seconds. Once mobs are no longer able to make a significant dent in your hitpoints, elven boon becomes the better choice.
I've got a sage cleric myself often running on autoculti for hours.
Attack combo:
(Sage) Cyclone
(Sage) Spirits Gift
Iron Heart
(Sage) Spirits Gift
Li's Technique
Celestial Eruption
(Sage) Cyclone
(Sage) Plume shot
Support (interval 800 seconds):
(Sage) Spirits Gift
Iron Heart
Celestial Guardian
(Sage) Spirits Gift
Magic Shell
Vanguard Spirit
This config runs stable for over 12 hours, albeit slow. No potion or charm usage ('though if your hitpoints are low, a HP charm could prevent premature failure). I've got a G15 +4 wand, rest of my gear isn't even G15 yet. Working on that though...I'm so P.R.O... I Press Respawn Often.
Ulsyr 103/103/104 BM. Working on the last R9 part (Axe).
Khelvan 103/103/103 LA Cler. LA? LA. Deal with it.
Evryn 103/102/101 Sagely Mystical Myst of Mystiness.
Gromth 102/102/102 Sage Panda.

You can sit stopped for a long time. I have not seen myself town port during a break in the auto culti. Only when wep is broke or timer is up. I have not noticed any difference when window is min/max. I think it seems to be in the coding.
Another thing I have noticed is that PWI may have bot traps or something. I have noticed that it will stop for a period of time in exact locations. Also started someone as a picker in the same location and he swam in a tight circle until moved from that spot. It was set to pick up coin only. There is also a spot I noticed down in DWP with seaspray blades. Every time the character stood there it just stopped for about 2 minutes mid-attacks.PVM_only - Sanctuary wrote: »instead of IH try Elven Boom... dd's and also heals you. so at all times you have heals and dont need to mess up your macro with stopping for heal
I guess reading wasn't your goal? Inefficient for MP, Im botting to make money and if I am spending on MP it is against my goal. Even if it is a few coins. I 1-2 shot everything anyway. Not like I need extra DD. Self buff is good for pulling you out of a stopped botting session if/when that happens. Only reason the IH is in assisting. If you are stopped yo may not even have a target as it seems the auto culti is just froze.0 -
Setting the assist option to rebuff quite often fixed most of my tele-to-town problems as well as when the system just suddenly stops. I prefer have the assist on ~30 seconds. (at least those classes I have been botting on so far)
With assist on 30 seconds cooldown, the max time the bot stop for whatever reason is for 30 seconds as well.
I'll have to mention every time the assist cooldown "ticks" the system "starts over" (i'm not talking about the time counter). I mean if there is a drop you for whatever reason couldnt pick up, started attack a new mob and then the assist cooldown ticks, you'll try run back to the drop to pick it up regardless if a mob still attacking you (unless its 2 or more mobs, you'll be attacking till only 1 mob left). Setting assist to like 1 second is therefore bad too, if there is a rock in your way to your drops you'll keep try pick it up forever and ever and ever lol.
You can also see the attack macro will start from beginning again if the assist cooldown ticked. This is a test0
