West coast servers

Is there any issue with the west coast servers? any time I pull up my server selection screen to try and log in all west coast servers are either unavailable or have high ping. I asked a few friends via skype and guild forum but no one had this issue and I have even rebooted my computer and my router/modem and still have issues.

    Open a command propmt and type "tracert pwicg2.perfectworld.com" without the quotes.

    Google is your friend dude.
    You could have gotten an answer without waiting for me to reply.

    If you're not sure on how to post it, you might want to read some of my threads.
    Again, it might require using a search feature....

    .... Well that didn't help as it says its normal... Yet Its still very laggy and doesn't connect...

    Look at hops 6-9 on your trace to the west coast servers. The packets are being dropped completely and afterwards there is a definite increase in latency as a result.

    I wouldn't call that normal at all. Your East coast trace isn't that bad though.

    Well... true... I haven't read or needed to run a tracert so... idk much about them.... And its all the westcoast servers that I'm having issues with.... EU and east are fine...

    Im guessing for pple having this same 'region' packet loss, theyll just have to rinse and repeat and hope they land on a diff. jumping route.
