Barbs nerfed?

Im not sure if this is purly an issue with my Toon.
Im lv 3 def passive 2x rebirthed 104,102,101 now
Was pure str build over 800 str 35k p att all that being said how can I hit some1 for 10kish non crit non zerk then while they are purged (no buffs on them) hit them for 300 dmg?

Also same with dmg taken taking 3-5k hits then all of a sudden 20k+ hits from same person. Its as if my gear is falling off yet stats on char screen read fine.

Also as a R9rr +10/12 full vits in gear please explain to me why im taking 20k hits from BOA's through invoke when other times same archer with invoke on hits me for 3-500dmg?

Ive since restated vit now over 51k hp and getting randomly hit for over 60k dmg fully buffed mag def base self buffed is 12.4k.

Its getting to where it isn't fun to play as my character isn't working properly feel free to have a gm contact me in game if u like but I need a resolution to this issue.

    I experienced the same even before this latest installment. My bar (before restating) had 26k hp and 32k pdef fully buffed with bell. There have been times a r9 sin would only tickle me in hits then all the sudden come out with a insane crit out of no where even through invoke. I have seen this happen from my sins point of view as well when battling catabarbs. No idea why or how this happens.

    I get hit for 136k on a regular basis in NW. Tonight in fact I was hit by an assassin, it was a one shot kill which, by itself is no shocker really, I am a cleric and all... But the real shocker is that his damage to me never appeared over my head and it never registered in the battle dialogue in my chat window. I also get people killing me through damage immunity buffs.

    Should infest barbs with fleas, every hit you deal, a random number generates and if it corresponds to some pre-set number you miss due to fleas biting f:scared

    I'm guessing,as stated previously, thet the new Spirit stats from card had something to do with it. Not sure how exactly that scales, but it seems to vary beyond the amount cards give us.

    With the newly released war avatar cards, neuma and addional PvP Spirit stat defense and attack may seem out of whack for a while as players adjust.

    Are you sure it is Barrage of Arrows that is hitting you for 20k through invoke? From my understanding of both skills that should be almost impossible as BoA does not bypass the bless buff from invoke and is subject to the 90% damage reduction, and also is primarily a physical damage attack.

    Also I'm not sure how you can be getting hit for 60k with the basic description of gear given without being purged and/or debuffed.

    Well, Spirit is like a new type of Attack/Defence levels so someone who rebirth (more stats in magic/dex/str depends on class) with leveled attack Nuemas, good cards (A or S) in attack slots and lots of Spirit probably hits pretty hard.

    The thing I don't know is how much Spirit affects things. You should try doing some testings and see for yourself before contacting a GM.

    Sorry to hear your still not having any luck with your character plague.
    Top damage ive taken was around the 80k mark..but this is from a well known seeker in relic that just one shots anything lol

    I already know of that post but I'm not very good with judging values with numbers like that. I'd be more interested in a different kind of tests.

    Yes I thought same initially but am now over 200 spirit with all A cards Most lv'd up decently if it were only a few random players I would agree but it seems to come even from those u know have B/C cards.

    Hence my dilemma.

    Seems like Devs were trying to make Sins more useful in mass pvp and totally screwed balance...

    new sin skills are said to be hell of op...

    full buffed, r9rr+12 josd catabarbs die 1shot from sins...

    also descriptions on bramble skills look like they were changed in favor for sins too(cant confirm)

    tidal protection feels like to block debuffs 10 out 10 times...


    dps sins were a nobrainer...
    now dph sins become nobrainer too but with lot more survivability, immune to control skills able to just hit and run...

    Well who knows with the new skills for certain classes...I'm curious if such a barb would also die to that new nuke from wizard.
