PV100 8 runs per token

I've started doing some PV100 in this expansion and got some requests to make a video of my strategy. I think the most I've seen an archer do before was 5-6 runs per token but 8 seems to be the upper limit.

I'm not really sure if this is best way to do it but it works for me. I keep the mobs from resetting by casting lvl 1 tangling mire at the mid point and at the end I kill the mobs and boss with triple spark.
I doubt this would work without very good gear though. I think most people would have to use an IG or AD at the end if they want to do single pull runs.
I don't really have much experience with the instance so feel free to tell me if there are things that I'm missing.

This would not work at all unless you can in fact tank all of the mobs simultaneously. The problem, basically, is that, if you cannot tank all the mobs, you'll need a pot to do it, which means you can't pot for chi. Personally, i'm convinced it would be almost as fast to simply pull everything and wingspan everything in range whenever you get stuck, killing off part of them before the end so you don't have to tank those as well. RankNine made a video of him doing it not too long ago, you'll notice he uses a def lvl bow just to reduce the damage he takes a bit more.0 -
I do 7 pr token, but i don't do one pulls, as i run around then cast an aoe and 1-shot some, runs again and 1-shot soem more lol. Atleast this way i sometimes dontt even tick charm in the 14 runs, which is good, as that gets costly.
btw are u sure 3-sparking on boss is actually faster, cos i seem to kill it faster than it takes for even demon spark animation to wear off.105 - 105 - 105 (14th march 2014)

I'm not sure about 3 sparking but it gives me time to confirm my hyper is up and switch to the dreamchaser neck. The dreamchaser neck seems to be the biggest benefit to single pull since I doubt it can survive long with multi pulls?
You're right that the cost is significantly higher. I'd like to find a way to lower the damage I take at the end before I decide to tone back. Maybe alternating AD / condor on consecutive runs would save my charm.[sigpic][/sigpic]

I never did any pv on an archer but I guess this is quite the same for that part whatever the class is... So personnaly I can barely do more than 3 or sometimes 4 runs without breaking that necklace.

She doesn't demon spark to kill the boss, she does it to kill the mobs. As you can see, unless she uses something to avoid all that damage, she's going to die if she doesn't kill them fast enough. I think fortification draught might work, asterelle, but again, i'm not sure, i've never been much of a fan of fort draughts, and i never bothered to find out how they work exactly.0 -
You must be missing a lot of mobs if you're only getting 41mil xp. I do 7 runs on my mystic and get 42mil xp per token.0

how can she not take the dmg, isnt she like full 12 too? o.o

Hmm well it was actually 41.7m. I didn't think I missed a significant amount but getting 14% xp less per run is way too much. How much of the XP comes from the mobs vs the toads and the boss?
Edit: Looking at the vid I forgot to switch necks on at least one of the runs and I killed half the mobs in run 3 without hyper... Also I need to do a better job of gathering in the 2nd room.[sigpic][/sigpic]

missing a lot of mobz. and idk if teleporting out before the xp from frogs show up matter. 8 runs with neck and server 2x should be about 53mil xp. without server 2x would be like 50mil ish.youtube channel: youtube.com/user/chezedude0 -

Ive got invoke, HA, 8.8m/s and i make only 6 runs. I must suck b:laughEverything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.0 -
Very nice!! I only can do 4runs with my archer by spamming wingspan/occasionally holy path or alacrity + barrage + expel.
A veno told me I could keep mobs from resetting mid-way with the bramble buff on.
The amount of mobs u pulled towards the end.. is pretty scary. I get lag spikes of 5-15 seconds occasionally in PV even with the lowest graphics.. that number of mobs is gonna kill me. b:shocked0 -

i also manage to do 7-8 runs depending on how often i get freezed or do misstakes.
here are some things i do:-
[■] use chi siphon genie skill with opening character on you (3 sparks) - so u dont waste pots for chi
[■] use shadow binder powder to run faster
[■] use veno/psy reflect to keep aggro better
[■] stop for a moment at the end of 2nd room to keep aggro...wingspan,tangling, earthquake whatever... blessing of condor might avoid charmtick
[■] use BoA (on boss) + Expel to kill all mobs and boss without charmtick (i have deity build but even without and just +10 bow might be enough to kill them fast enough)
[■] use cubeneck while luring and exp neck while killing (cos u get nearly no dmg it doesnt lose durability)
[■] i dont stop hyper at all (dont have more than 10 activations anyway) - this way u cannot forget to activate and kill mobs while luring

I am able to manage 7 runs with my archer but using 3 stops through dungeon.
If I see I am running out of time I focus the mobs at last two rooms. They give most of the experience - special the toads are important too.
I also using the experience blessing from shroud to get more experience during these runs.
... and yeah, biggest problem is to find pv opener +100
Its even more hard to find openers because several reawakened their characters and still not lvl100 again.0
