Escort the Provision Convoy in Sky Owl story mode

The npc for this quest spawns randomly inside the Sky Owl story mode.

The quest text said to hold down Ctrl key to force attack. But it never worked for me. It said "No Effect". But I've seen a sin and a cleric did it before.

Does anyone know how this works ? b:surrender

    well I killed all the mobs and got 4 mil exp from it, I am in pk mode but not sure if thats related to the success of it lol.

    I had to hold CTRL and click attack or click a skill out of the skill menu I use skill menu cause its faster to kill em all with aoe skills, because CTRL + 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F6 F7 ext is bound by system so cant use your skills that way lol. need R menu open :P

    the mobs respawn so im not sure if you kill em fast enough and follow it for a bit for them to respawn and kill em again for more exp. but it disappears soon after the bridge so have to turn in before that happens as well as the time limit on quest. ill try next time to kill more. b:laugh

    So can ANY GM actually confirm if this is a glitch or are they actually gonna require us to go into pk mode to do this?

    Something else worth adding:

    I did the quest and saw somebody else white named; a lesser geared player who could have very well died from an AoE. I set my PK protections to "all" and was unable to attack the mobs like I usually am.

    has anyone noticed where caravan pops in at?...didn't look at cords last time I did, but It seems to pop in just about across from the area where you light the fire and kill the mobs for the grain quest...don't recall the name of that quest off hand.

    anyone one seen it spawn farther back then that?

    It spawns right there across the area of the 1st primal daily quest. I believe if you check the video in this thread you'll see pretty much the start.
