Bad luck or refining using just mirages nerfed

Hi all,

Not sure but it seems that it is very difficult to refine just using mirages. I came across 10 consecutive failures at 0->+1 on a g14 cube neck more than once which I have never seen before the expansion.

Anybody comments?

    I have failed like 5x in a row even with tishas from 0 - 1, luck is luck, if they nerfed something that was noticable, we would see a lot more posts about it.

    Refining in pwi is all about luck....some time ago I had 20fails in a row 0>1.......and then 1day I got my wep from +6 to +12 with 8tishas and 40mirages...had 1 fail +10>+11 but then 3success in a row.

    2 days ago I went crazy and tried to +7 my Skycover G15. It used up 800 mirages and maybe 50 event gold of tienkangs. I ended up with +7, but yeah, there were many fails. I have no idea if they were nerfed or not but here is my result at least.b:shutup

    I didn't like the status on my wep so I was trying to get it to +0 so I don't have regrets when I reroll....I ended up with it +12b:cry
    to be exact it wasn't in a row....1day I got +7 and +8 with tien...the next day +9 +10 with tisha 2days later +10>+9>+10>+11 then 1day later I thought why not to try +12 and it was a success(after almost everyone in my faction and fl telling me not to even think about it)

    A friend of mine was asking me if I know about a trick on refining...
    I was wondering about that question of his... He told me that he used 400 mirages and have no luck refining it... Yeah! his gear still is not yet refined even to +1. b:shocked
    In this Perfect World, those that are Made-In-China are the originals whereas ours and other servers are just cheap imitations...b:sad

    Everyone says it's bad luck or nothing has been changed. But needing 200+ mirages to get to +3 seems like more than bad luck especially with 29 fails in row.

    It is, in fact, just horrible luck (though if you're doing G16 not so much because of the extra mirages used there).

    As has been shown multiple times, the refine data has not been changed at all since even '08.
