Enter Game FAILS

Hey i updated my client with the patch manually and now i cant enter to the game

it asks me over and over again, for the update... but its 765 alrdy T_T

plz need help

    Your patcher isn't up-to-date.

    Try closing it and re-opening it. Failing that, run verify three times. We have time before the servers are back up, after all.

    what u kididng?????????? i downloaded the patch from sweetbot_ which is the same as the one in page download... why did u move my topic here wher enobody sees, and wont get help

    wierd my main and catshop account work, but my friend brought his laptop over and he can't log on his, we both updated at same time, really wierd

    ur so useful
    1: The patch is for the client, not the patcher itself. Run launcher.exe from the launcher folder. Just because you've patched the client doesn't mean that your patcher itself is up-to-date as they tend to use separate patches.

    2: This sort of topic is supposed to be in Tech Support anyways. The alternative to moving it here would be to close it. I also left a redirect to it in General Discussion, something I did not have to do at all.

    3: We actually do have people who see these topics and provide help here. The whole "nobody sees anything not in General Discussion" **** I see from WAAAAAAAAAAY too many users gets old fast. If someone's too ignorant of the rest of the forums to realize that there are places more appropriate then that's their loss. However, as a mod, I can and will move these to where they're supposed to go to begin with. Deal with it.

    i tried many times from launcher folder, but a windows pops up saying "you are not allow to do so"

    Actually i stopped using forum "section browsing" long time ago, since some have no relevance to the section anyway. I just hit "today's posts" check the title, the thread opener and the section it belongs to, if it looks "worth reading" i just hop in :d.


    Although the op has a "half fair point", the general section attracts faster response times (although not necessarily a valid point) and somewhat more attention to the issue, than the other subforums (if it finds similar ppl that have the same problem, and maybe are just lazy to search or open a correct thread)

    Are you getting a permission issue? Try running as administrator to see if that lets you open it.

    Yeah. It's the best way to do mass browsing as well.

    Though having the individual subforums still helps newer users a lot and makes things less cluttered. b:chuckle

    "windows has no acces to the path, folder, archive. You may not have permisions to get acces to the element."

    thats what it says no matter if if i click on administrator

    plus: i verified and still says "enter client error"

    Right click the folder and check to see if the properties are set to read only. If they are, uncheck that and try again.

    well i managed to update the launcher but it still says game error..

    Same problem here the whole day already, game update complete and it starts until i gonna log on server after i klick on harshlands server it comes 'server error' and it doesnt work, but idm that much since i said already that new expansions always fail so well maybe it works tomorrow maybe not :D

    Is there any update to this topic? i am having the same issue. My game is fully updated but I have the old launcher and cant connect to any servers..
